Definitely spurs in better position. If we score before Ajax we are in control of the tie.
Liverpool have to score at least three but MUST not concede.
Good luck to both though 👍🏻
Definitely Spurs. Liverpool will have to pull off a footballing miracle to turn this around, Spurs still have an excellent chance to progress.
Excellent chance? You definitely have not watched Ajax at home this season. Their fans will be the 12th man. At least Liverpool will have anfield
Liverpool are not out of this, no way. It will be very tough but I think they will run it close.
Of course, we have a chance too. My issue is that our current form is shocking. Even more so away from home. Fans expect us to just turn up next Wednesday with Son and we will give them a game. But we aren't playing well, not scoring enough goals and not keeping clean sheets. Still, the memories of the QF will live with us forever.
Obviously Spurs. Liverpool are all but out. They are playing a far better team and much further behind.
We still have a chance if we play well next week. Liverpool would need a miracle.
Spurs are in a much better position although Liverpool played by far the better of the two.
If Ajax score we need 2 whereas if Barca score Liverpool need 5.
Spurs were in a better position before the fixtures started never mind now

Not if you take into consideration the team we were in a position to field against Ajax!

We need two regardless. 1 takes it to extra time and we will not survive that.
Was going to post exactly the same article. Spurs are most definitely in a better position and actually makes me feel better about our result. All we need is 1 goal which we are more than capable of, then pressure really is on Ajax who will not want to concede a 2nd away goal. Get 2 away goals and it’s advantage us. Liverpool not only have to score 3 to just level, but will have to try stop Barcelona on the counter. Barca score 1 it’s all over. Spurs have got a chance to progress still. Liverpool’s chances are very slim.

I've seen this said a few times, it's nonsense.
You are not in control with a 1-1 aggregate score line. When you score 2 and are 2-0 or 2-1 up, then you are.
I don't know how we will score the goals have dried up.
Just don't look a threat.
Liverpool are out.
Spurs still have a decent chance.

Completely different game mate. Plus we have Son back who will be firing at their heels. We got 3 goals away to City, no reason why we can’t against Ajax.
Miracles aside, it's Ajax vs Barca.
Spurs will still go through. I never watched their match and when I checked the result the next day I was actually disappointed Ajax only won 1-0. With players returning for the 2nd leg, Spurs can still easily qualify

Neither are in a great position, but obviously Spurs only having to turn over a 1-0 deficit, all be it away from home are in a far better position.
It depends if Ajax bring their A game to the second leg, if they do, then they will be in the final with Barcelona.
What I would say is if we do get through we face a huge task against Barca. Liverpool couldn't have played much better last night and they are a much better team than us. Barca just have that nous and obviously Messi. He looks unstoppable this year.

not in control but we have a slight advantage knowing we can score another away goal and they cant

Thats what I implied. I am just responding to comments saying "when its 1-1 Spurs are in control".
What a pathetically desperate article
Whoever goes through from our game will dispose of spurs or Ajax with ease
Liverpool don't bottle it when it comes to the big stuff...so no brainer really
