Hmm. I remember when we built our stadium, had promising league and champions league campaigns and couldn't spend much money. Apparently none of that mattered because we didn't win trophies..

Everyone knew that the priority for Arsenal was to finish in top 4 every season because of the financial revenue it created. Different since the TV deal skyrocketed. Now the top 4 is for the use of attracting players for the big clubs at least anyway.

Tbf it's not totally inconceivable that Liverpool won't ship 7 at home next week.
