Xhaka is sheet

Our strikers have gone missing when we have needed them the most. They still have time to redeem themselves in Europa

what can Emery do with such a poor squad of losers he inherited from a loser manager
----------------------------------------------------------------------
oh yes.....this is now Wenger's team again
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Mkhi lost the ball. Xhaka gave the penalty away. These were Wenger players.

Vs Palace Mustafi gave the goal away. Wenger player.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
yeah and dont forget that Auba missed a sitter again. All Wenger players.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
You are an actual retaaard. You are so far beyond a parody it's a joke.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Yeah truth hurts I know
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Xhaka cost us top 4. Your facking bumbandit loverboy costus top 4.

Yet typical gutterjewb style you lay blame elsewhere. You're a retaard m8.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
no, he hasnt. And you know that. Mhiki made that mistake and Xhaka gave away that pen.

We lost top4 long ago.

To begin with not winning at Spurs with a missed pen.

Ramsey injury is what cost us top 4 and might as well cost us the Europa. He was the only link between our midfield and our strikers. Our form has been dreadfull since his injury.

top 4 depending on two other teams. What so difficult to understand?

Unfortunately there are certain players you are not allowed to criticise. Auba being one of them.

Thank god season is now over for us.

Just support the team in the EL now.

My post on an earlier thread today. Apt now, even after the Brighton game;

I'd say, don't sell. Arsenal is at the onset of a massive rebuilding project. Madness to sell players we want to be the fulcrum of what we're building right from the onset.

Players to offload could include

Ozil - mercurial player, but hugely frustrating at times, plus his wage bill is an issue.

Mhiki - blows hot or cold. Can't predict what you'd get from him. He does have a good understanding with Auba but we should cash in now. Also on high wages I believe?

Mustafi - Anyone don't know why Arsenal should get rid, have no clue.

Xhaka - pace of premier league not kind to him.

Bellerin - speed merchant. Not good defensively and final ball frustrating. Judging by pull outs from Alexander-arnold and Robertson, which gets to their man with pinpoint accuracy, we should be aiming for higher, Wan Bissaka?

Monies from these sales can be added to the so called 45m available. We can then bid for;

Maguire (my first choice, but he'd be pricey), alternative Ake.

Zaha, alternative Chukwueze from Villareal.

Gueye or Ndidi

Federico Chiesa, Fiorentina youngster, who I think we should test the waters by putting in a bid for. He's gonna be massive.

Players to keep, some despite widespread reservations;

Iwobi - young, will get better
Kola, very quick and strong but lacks concentration and defensively not great but also young, will improve.
Welbeck - contented backup, also won't get much from sale.
Monreal. - old, won't get much from sale. Keep for experience
Kos retire
Chech - retire

IAWT, Xhaka signed a new contract last Summer just after Emery came in (but I suspect it was agreed well before his arrival). I couldn't believe it tbh. The guy is a fraud.

Cech, Ramsey & Wellbeck were given a farewell after the match, it should have been Xhaka, Mustafi and Wellbeck instead

I really dont care. Not interesting in that scapegoating. We have done that season after season. In one season it was Ramsey. In the other it was Giroud.

We are a team and when 4 players not fighting enough you are in trouble. Over the years we saw players making silly individual mistakes that cost us as well as the facking injuries all the time.

Let' talk about if we have made progress footballwise? Have we improved our weaknesses?

I dont think we have. Defensively we are not any better allthough we finally bought in a DM in Torreira.

As I said before.....real investment is needed.

You can’t be serious about wanting to sell Bellerin and keep a clown like Iwobi.
How about wasters like Elneny and Jenkinson?

Also this excuse that Emery needs his own players is bs

With the players he has he should have been able to get more that 1 point against Palace, Wolves, Leicester and Brighton

None of the the subs made sence.

I’ve been saying all season that Emery is not the man to take us forward. Yes, some players need to go, but do you really trust Emery to identify the correct targets required to get us back near the top? He’s a small time manager, hence why our results at home in the big games have been fairly good. Problem is, he always sets us out to nullify the opposition. He is simply far too pragmatic.

Something else that I have mentioned before is our diabolical underlying stats. Those are coming back to bite us now, and the trend will continue next season. Stats say we’re outperforming close to the level Manchester United were last season, and look what has happened to them this season.

I'm not Emery's biggest fan. Didn't want him when he was announced.

But If we get rid of him, do you trust the club to find a better replacement?

We still haven't appointed a technical director yet. The players we are being linked to are concerning.

posted on 5/5/19

Tu Meke, depends on who's available and whether the club can sell a project. What's clear regardless of coach is that your squad needs a lot of work, and you need to have the correct structure behind the coach to rebuild that just as much as having the correct coach - good footballers can cover a lot of flaws in a coach, and even the right coach needs good players.

posted on 5/5/19

We clearly need to act like a big club and spend money on the right players and buy player over requirements. Too many injuries longtermn hindering us and player are in the comfort zone without having competition. That really needs to stop.

With Kroenke I cant see that will really happen.

Completely agree Tu. People are only pointing fingers at the players and although most of them are sub levels and need to go, I think manager, coaches and the board should share the blame. Everything seems to be wrong at the club right now and there is no sign of things getting better.
We should have appointed the technical director by now so he can start to work on this summer target but still nothing.
We need proper coaches. We haven't eradicated our bad defensive mistakes. If anything we got worse. The say "give a man a fish and you feed him for a day" comes to mind. We can get whichever players but if we can't coach them how to defend, then it's pointless.

This Sanllehi power struggle has killed us. It's obvious he wanted Monchi as TD but after the snub we've not even got a back up plan. And in the process we've got rid of Mislintat, our hope of finding the inexpensive gems. It's a shambles on and off the pitch.
