City is the best premiership side ever
Unfortunately we have our best side when this was the case
----------------------------------------------------------------------
If they do the treble, then given last season winning and breaking points total, and amassing an incredible points total again this season coupled with the treble you’d certainly have to put them in the equation.
They’re unreal, you just don’t see where teams are going to score against them.
I found them much more better and devastating to watch last season Tiddles. This year they’ve been more efficient than pleasing on the eye.

Up until the goal, City were starting to look very desperate. What a bloody shame.
Also couldn’t believe my eyes when 3 minutes was held up for time added on. Aguero took 3 minutes to walk off the pitch.
Ah well.

They are incredible. Slightly tarnished though that they have done it with a small country backing them. It just feels like cheating in a way.
However lesser of two evils for us. You lot have 18 titles which is much much closer to our record.

A title winning goal tbf. Both Liverpool and City have been unreal winning like this, all the way to the end.
Can't complain, it is what it is.
As for the 10 year olds who flood this forum with emojis, I pity you and your lack of personal successes in life.

Very possibly, i think they have been incredible this season though. Thought they might drop a little in their level this season after last and focusing on the champions league.

It's only a game.
I honestly thought we were gonna get one this year SE85. It’s the hope that kills you
When they win it next week they will imo be the best prem side ever. They won it with 100 points last year as someone reminded me and this year they got pushed and will win it only 2 points shorter than last year.
My fear is if they buy again this year they will win with ease next season as well.
I cannot see us certainly amassing this many points next year.
Neither side deserves to lose. Great season between the top 2.

They’ve put in a monumental effort for the run in, can’t see them bottling it on the last day. Anything can happen though.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Definitely done and dusted now I reckon. I refuse to rely on another team only for Ederson to shin one in from 50 yards.
When a 33 year old CB rocks up and sticks one right in the top corner from 30 yards, just have to laugh really. Appears it’s not meant to be.
Quality, quality goal though. Top class.

Pep has 2 yrs left max at City. Aguero,Silva, Fernandinho n Kompany all going soon.
You are currently in prime position to take over from them. However a lot can change in football and quick.
City will get 95+ points next season. Doing it two years in a proves it's not a fluke and shows it's going to happen again.
The only ways to challenge them is to build an absolutely incredible side to match them (which is virtually impossible) . Or to somehow win more matches than your side is really capable of like we have done this season. We've shown incredible grit, but it seems impossible for us to repeat it next year, we're just not at the same level they are.
One horse race next year I reckon.
Great article. Sums it up brilliantly.
We definitely need to sign another 3 quality additions minimum imo. Centre half, winger and one midfielder imo. Then good back ups for our fullbacks.
If we can do that we can probably match our points total (or close) this season. Even then it might not be enough though
