End on a high with a nice home win to secure 3rd. Dont think Chelsea will beat Leicester, especially after last night.
Lloris
Aurier Sanchez Toby Davies
Dier Sissoko
Eriksen Dele Lucas
Llorente
play like we did 2nd half against ajax we should walk it.
Son & Foyth suspended
Wanyama looked very injured after Ajax. Hobbling badly
Lamela probably not fit enough to start, probably the same for Aurier.
Winks, Sanchez & Kane also injured.
Vertonghen on crutches
So just the usual 7 unavailable and a couple coming back from long injuries
Doesnt leave us too many options - Davies for Rose may be, Dier at CB, Skipp in the CM somewhere.
It's not like players need resting as we have no game for a while but more likely to get injured if not fully recovered from the SF.
is sanchez out? probably be Dier or Davies at CB then

so after a hundred years of basically nothing, spurs finally reach cl final in the most dramatic fashion, and two days later the excitement has already died down
what is the point of being a football fan?
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Well because it is not a hundred years of basically nothing.
Seven FA Cups
Two Leagues
Four League Cups
Three European Trophies
plus countless other finals.
So that works out at an average of say one trophy every six years over 100 years, which is not to be sniffed at. Something United will probably get nowhere near in the coming 100 years, if the current trajectory is to continue.

Well we all know Spurs will not play like they did against Ajax, may just get over the line against Everton, but not expecting a champagne display. But as long as they get the job done, then performance does not matter that much.

united have won a third of that since saf left
the point i am making is that surely wednesday was the game you have been waiting for all your life, and today, just two days later, you are already worried about the next game. if joy is so rare and so fleeting, why do we even support football teams.

Sandy's not speaking for every single Spurs fan here.
I'm still on cloud nine and probably will be for weeks. Can't help but grin every time I think of that winner

I am thrilled with the result mate, but it is only a semi-final. I usually reserve total excitement for when Spurs actually go on and win trophies.
I mean are Liverpool fans going to be overly excited about finishing 2nd?
