Where did you get the figure of 150m from for CL. Could be wrong but I’ve never known it anywhere near that total

Yeah I think our income for the CL last year was around 70 million
whatever the numbers I hope you're right but Its gonna require a massive change in approach from the club. Whether its Levy being tight, Poch not spending (serving to increase his own leverage).. who knows. Until there some communication from Levy (not gonna happen), spending from Levy (history tells us this is unlikely) or until Poch throws his toys out and quits... none of us have any idea.
Something doesn't seem right with Poch, Personally I think he knows he isn't gonna get much this summer and at this point, win or lose the final..... His leverage will never be higher.... whether its Juve, Bayern, PSG or at some point United.... He's pushing against what must feel like a glass ceiling at Spurs
We’ve earned €102m for our CL campaign so far

So, what do we do? Speaking in broad terms. Say we spend £150 million this summer.
Would you rather 2 players that we value at £75 mill? 3 players at £50 mill? 5 players at £30 mill?

Cheers dude.
The stadium being the elephant in the room here.
Surely that was the reason you've not spent for 2 windows?
think we will net spend 100m (basically our unexpected CL revenue)
total spend will be 200-250m though as I think we will get about 150m in for player sales (including dembele)
If you think last season we av. about 65K at Wembley and earned £62m from UCL (prize money, so excluding matchday). We made the ko stage of the UCL and the SF of FA Cup - Transfer was a net spend of about £32m (££84m earned, £116m spent). And we posted a record Profit of £113m.
This season we have reportedly made £88m from UCL, so about £25m more. Our attendances at Wembley were down on last season and the option to remain there indefinitely will have likely cost us millions, as will the ability gain a refund for STs .
We made it to the Carabao SF and will have had additional match day revenue for the UCL QF & SF at the new stadium.
No transfers IN or OUT.
Looking at all this I dont think youd be far off if revenues remain about the same, when offsetting against the extra costs of wembley & the ST refunds.
So all things being equal, similar levels of profit possibly.
But the player trading at £0 is +£30m better than before so perhaps even better results for this season to June.
What we dont know is where that money is going. Of course the increase revenue will in part go towards paying off the mortgage, but this relies on steady revenue from our new home, not necessarily relying on chunks of it being paid off from large profits. As costs have increased, maybe profits will be used to reduce our debts, we reportedly increase borrowing by about £230m. Profits to June 2018 and 2019 could potentially clear this.
£100m net spend would really move us forward. Surely the club will have seen that we were a bit lucky this season - injuries, deficiencies in our squad have left us hanging on a bit. The squad needs freshening up but the quality in CM & RB needs attention.
I expect it will be more like half that though

no chance we are spending that kind of money. Toby and Eriksen going would be our only chance of recouping 150mill but even if we spend 250mill and lose those guys our squad quality may well have regressed again.

Does not factor in the final and all the other smaller add on's , such as merchandising, supporter spend, outside advertising. As anyone in business will tell you, success brings many revenue stream opportunities.. So yeah, 150m is really not that unreasonable.
That said, bit petty that is all you have to say on Spurs needs going forward, with CL success only a part of the calculations don't you think ?

This is prize money and tv revenue
also if you are adding all the little extras then you have to factor in the renting of Wembley for 4 games too plus the players and staff bonuses which will be hefty
That’s why it’s better to take the tv revenue and prize money only
I think Levy will push the boat out this summer and surprise a few.
5 or 6s Ins and about the same amount of outs. With fewer injuries next term, i think we'll we alright next season as longs as more than half of our signings are hits...
