Great movie
The D day landing scenes were filmed in Wexford beach

I love the film. But I have a feeling watching it on the TV is not gonna remotely compare to seeing it on a Cinema screen with surround sound. Especially the D-Day landing scenes.
I always regretted (after seeing it on VHS) letting my mates talk me out of watching it in 1998 because of them calling it "An American propaganda" movie.
At least i'm gonna finally put that right

The bit where Hugo Lloris has all of the ammo but fails to help his mate who is struggling with the German guy with the knife and the German guy kills him. Then he walks straight past Hugo Lloris on the stairs. This is all after Hugo Lloris had let him walk away when he had surrendered previously.
Hugo Lloris has the last word though when he kills him later on after he had surrendered.
Do Spurs really want a coward in goal for the CL final? I seriously doubt it.

I'd like to see a film about the rise of Hitler and Natzi Germany. Maybe a series. From the Treaty of Versailles and German persecution, to when they become the persecutors and tyrants. *
