Mate if we already thought we'd won there wouldn't be such glorious following with flags and banners down every street.
No Liverpool fan takes anythibg for granted, but more than that no Liverpool fan gives up either.
For some reason some of their fans seem to be butt-hurt that we are the favourites. Whilst anything can happen in a cup final, you would expect (based on this season), that we win this match 3 times out of 5.
It’s their pathetic way of saying this game is a free hit
Their so afraid of failure, they say we’ve already won it so they have nothing to lose
Fackin mincers,

Nobody I know thinks we’ve won. In fact, many are worried (including myself).
I have maintained since Moura scored that third goal that this is a 50/50 final.
Lastly, if you’ve followed Liverpool long enough then you’ll acknowledge that we very rarely win silverware easily.
Off the top of my head, Bolton Wanderers in 95 is the most recent final whereby we were relatively comfortable. Everything else has been nail biting hell.

Even then Alan Thompson rifled one in.
I personally have a horrible feeling that fate is on their side with the way everything has worked out. Last minute goal to qualify from the group when it wasn't even in their hands, last minute disallowed goal against City, 96th minute winner against Ajax.

Sounds like a dodgy deal going down Ace
Seems to me that a few too many of our fans are getting their excuses in early in the event that we lose. Just so they can come back on here on 2 Jun (if we lose) and say I told you so.
It’s going to be a tough game but I do think we will beat spurs. 3 final losses and just missing out on the league will be motivation enough I think.

So mean
It's just a minority of Liverpool fans that go around saying they will breeze past Spurs when most people with common sense and some football knowledge understand it won't turn out like that.
As said, Spurs are a good side and are capable of beating anybody on their day. Just because they haven't been as consistent as they perhaps should have been domestically, doesn't mean they can't turn up and win it on the day, especially in a one off game. They have the ability to do it, just as much as Liverpool do.

What facts? You seriously aren’t suggesting that we will win because we finished ahead of them in the league are you? This is a final with immense pressure. Small margins could be the difference. Taking your chances, refereeing decisions, VAR, keeper errors etc.
I say it as I see it. Tottenham are a very good side and one of the few times I’ve seen outplay us at Anfield. This is the biggest game in the history of that football club.
Therefore I give them a decent chance of winning.

The facts that we finished 26 points ahead, scored more, conceded fewer and beat them both home and away. These are the facts which make us favourites and these are the facts that which mean this game is not 50/50. Like I said previously, we win this game more often than not.

That’s not to say Spurs won’t win. Of course they might, I am just not afraid to say that we are favourites and I think we will win; albeit a tight win.
Let’s agree to disagree.
I personally think our league position means nothing on Saturday. If you think this somehow gives us the edge then good for you.
Do I think we’re a better team? Over 38 games yes. But this is the Champions League final. A one off match with pressure like no other. I think that given its Tottenhams biggest ever match, it kind of equals out this favourites tag.
