Ah, now you’re back, why are you suggesting Klopp is maybe being over confident? I can’t find any suggestion of this in the article you linked.....

Spurs are under zero pressure in the biggest game in club football. Due to the fact this is a free hit for them I expect then to play with freedom and go on and win the game comfortably.

Fack sake Rob - is this going to be your standard response to every post til end of the game on Saturday????

The “we almost matched City” trophy
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Wumming aside, what would you be saying about your Spurs side and manager if they’d gotten 97 points and finished a point behind City?
I’m reasonably certain you wouldn’t be calling them bottlers or coming out with ‘you get nothing for second’ or such lines....
----------------------------------------------------------------------
We finished 2nd in 2017, scored most conceded least. Fair enough 86 points isn’t 97, but each season is different and the winners ‘only’ got 93. I said repeatedly that we were excellent that season, and would’ve been worthy champions but that Chelsea got the jump on everyone by having no European football (accumulated a big lead during CL group stages).
I was told by other fans, including Liverpool’s, that there’s no prizes for 2nd place and that at least we retained our ‘putting the pressure on’ trophy. So how is it when Liverpool have a good season and finish runners up its suddently a bigger achievement?
----------------------------------------------------------------------
2nd is 2nd Ace, however Liverpool like to dress it up, they won nothing, no matter how many points they got. And if Spurs were to beat them in the final on Saturday, then Spurs would have had by far the better season.

I just checked that KPMG link and it has the gap at a few hundred million.
That Dortmund team had a better midfield.
Gundogan was an upgrade on Sahin when they won their second title.
Upfront they had Gotze, Lewa and Reus.
They had a weakness with their goalkeeper who was an old school type goalie.
Their cb's and fullbacks were of the same quality as this current Liverpool team.
