VAR, like all this surveillance in society is being used against every one of us. Smell the beans!
It’s the rules.
Wrongly imo but the law says it’s a pen

Mane definitely tried for a penalty, he just aimed the ball straight at Sissoko`s arm. Very poor sportsmanship, and this sort of thing is alarmingly creeping in. If you know all you have to do to get a penalty, is to fire at a players arm from a couple of yards away, why do you even need to think about having a shot at the goal.
As MK says, the ref is just applying the rules. Can’t blame the ref, he’s just doing what he’s told by UEFA.
Commiserations anyway.
Yeah the officials was very naive but not for pen, for other decisions. He should have given us free kick and yellow carded Trent for hacking down Rose and Son didn't handball it when he received it and had clear chance.
Never mind, very poor night from the ref.

Don’t put your arm out like a idiot and then you can’t give a pen away. Simple
Perhaps they should stop calling it hand ball, when any part of hand to shoulder is deemed hand ball, ridiculous situation.

I agree, that what Mane did. Sissoko had his rams for so long, Mane just lifted the ball against Sissoko which hit shoulders then hand, and Mane went straight to the ref who pointed to the pen.
Awful decision in my view.

besides we already saw uefas stance on handballs in the PSG vs Utd game did we not?
100% pen. Not even an argument. But we are spurs. Conceding early is what we faaacking do
Never a penalty in a million years.
But they scored a 2nd so can live with that.
It was a pen.
We won.
Unluuuuuuuuuuuccccccckkkkkeeeeeeeyyyyyyy!
Okay but you had 88 minutes to find a way through us and didn’t.
Everyone will say it’s better to concede in the first minute than the last. You can’t blame the result on 1 decision when you had basically the entire match to fix it.
If the pen wasn't given you'd still be 1 nil down at the end

Your arms are on your body mate, it is very unnatural to have your arms straight to your sides, I don`t know any human that walks like that. Players cannot jump if they do not use their arms to propel them, so have to have them flailing about at times. It is just the natural thing to do.

Whatever Sandy is trying to claim here is foolish.
Mane was trying to knock the ball into the penalty area. Sandy could argue that Sissoko was too near and had too little time to get his arm out of the way, and therefore the "arm ball" was unintentional.
VAR does not adjudicate for intent.
The Ref has to do that.
I would argue that some Refs would have called it unintentional.
I don’t know any player who walks with their arm pointed to the sky either Sandy
