Arsenal closely followed by Utd, who are an utter shambles. Ole will be gone by Xmas.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
United have the cash to spend their way out of this without blinking an eye. They also have quite a few players who could fetch good money on their own merit, or make decent counter-weights in any player swap deal.
As far as I can tell, their only problem is Olé's pulling power. Or lack thereof.

Arsenal by some distance...
We have no money, a squad that needs to upgrade on about 8 players, no CL football, a few players 30+, players with a weak mental state, and a owner who doesn't give a damn about the club

Yeah, the man prepared to sign huge cheques is going to be a bigger hindrance to signing players than our so far unsuccessful manager.

They way I see it OP, is that United have the greatest room for improvement.
If the club can get in 3 or 4 quality players to slot right in to the first 11 and Ole can get them playing the United way then we will at least be loads better to watch next season
Utd, since we have incompetent buffoons in charge of the club, it'll be the same old next year. We'll probably still keep on playing Young, Jones and Smalling in defense and then once again reward them with a bumper contracts for their hardwork (of leaking over 60 goals next season)

Well yes he is.
Given the choice I’d much rather be in our position than Arsenal’s personally despite the shocking position we are currently in. We have a mountain of cash and still have some players who could fetch a fair bit if they were to be sold. Arsenal apparently have feck all cash and have a poor squad with very few players that would go for big bucks. In fact only Lacazette would go for more than 60m imo.
I think it will be between us, Chelsea and Spurs for that 3rd spot as long as we invest wisely which I’m positive it’s about time we got some transfers right

Nothing stopping Kroenke deciding to spend £300m if he feels like it.
I fear Oles relative inexperience at the top level could put players off signing.
“Nothing stopping Kroenke deciding to spend £300m if he feels like it”
Well that £4b stadium he’s building in LA is stopping it

They have not paid off their debt yet, despite being worth four times the current value of the club.

Well, he has at least three other sporting teams that I know of, one of them is having a $5 billion stadium being constructed and Arsenal likely don't make 300 million for him to spend like we do.
