Bergwijn deserves better than that chit
Replacing Bergwijn and Winks with Richarlison and Eriksen for a similar cost would be great business.

I still think this whole Richarlison story is back up option in case we miss out on another target. I can't believe Conte and Paratici have sat down and singled him out to be our A list attacker option.
Who are the A list attackers though? We aren’t linked with many that people seem to rate
Ace.. good rant as always but you obviously know he's quality or you wouldn't be suggesting we pay even that much. If you've watched so much of Everton you'll know they're properly sheit. Without Richarlison they would've gone down. He might not have Son levels of finishing but he can create a goal out of nothing on his own. That's valuable.
Whatevs. I'd be just as happy if we raided them for Gordon and Allan.

Gordon is rapid and would be definitely investing in untapped potential. Allan is great. He's not going to turn around a sheit team but he's not far behind Bentancur imo. Only problem is he's old.
Anyway, to MK's point - what are the better options? We either go with another Bergwijn style punt with a nice upside but could be yet another player who doesn't win us a trophy.. or we overspend on proven player that isn't perfect.. cos the A list ones like Nunez we either won't be paying up for or wouldn't join anyway cos Son and Kane.

Gordon is rapid and would be definitely investing in untapped potential. Allan is great. He's not going to turn around a sheit team but he's not far behind Bentancur imo. Only problem is he's old.

Jesus is better than Richarlison. For €60m I’d rather go all in for him. Slightly different type of player, but I’d rather go for Maddison than Richarlison as well.
I’m not saying I’m against the signing, just that he wouldn’t be a preferred choice and I think some of our fans are almost bigging him up in advance in order to justify it. I’m not convinced Richarlison is a particularly big step up on Bergwijn to be honest.

Maddison & Richarlison aren’t anything alike though. Richarlison surely will be cover for Kane & the wide players which Maddison couldn’t do.
It would be Maddison over something like Eriksen
