Harsh on Parker, should have stayed at Fulham, never did understand that move
Galatasaray have opened talks with #thfc over a deal for Lucas Moura.
The Turkish club have offered a loan + option to buy deal. | @takvim
Please and lets stock up the baby oil
Moura for Adama would be a huge upgrade
Yeah one of the ways I'd make sense of the Adama interest
In an era of 5 subs, Adam is a very good plan B type option.
He'd have been useful against Chelsea, for example, when we could keep possession. Just pass it to him and make him run up the field for a 60 yard gain to restart the downs.
We don't keep possession though
We need to keep more though, and Conte intends on doing this. We've actually been let down by our two midfielders a little this season in that aspect.

Kane and Son are the worse culprits for giving the ball away. The two mids have done alright.

Lucas & Adama would be great on the bench ( & rested after World Cup ).
Our bench could be insane ( if the full squad was fit )
Subs-
Forster
Spence
Sessegnon
Sanchez
Skipp
Bissouma
Richarlison
Adama
Lucas

Conte doesnt agree based on his interview from the weekend. I agree Kane/Son can do better as well, but to keep sustained possession you don't expect it from your forward line.
I think Kane and Son have suffered for the lack of shorter passes received from the midfield tbh
And that stems from the centre halves not being good enough at finding the CMs with balls on the ground, as well as Hojbjerg particularly not being good at the thing Ndombele was supposed to offer - taking the ball on the turn past a press, and progressing
Bentancur is really good at that but I don't think he's seeing enough of the right passes from the centre halves, who are looking wide/long too often atm
Don't get me wrong, Hojbjerg is doing well at the sort of Keane-lite physical/positional stuff but I just think a bit more composure/guile on the ball is needed in defence and midfield. Would like to see Lenglet (and obviously Romero) and Bissouma starting soon.
Feels like Royal in particular is seeing way too much of the ball in build up play and that just isn't his strength

Not buying that. Son is weak on the ball and easily bullied off it. Teams have sussed him out.
Kane regularly makes the wrong decision and
makes himself look like a pub player at times.
Based on it being a theme in all Conte teams, I think the CB's going wide is an instruction more than anything.
The type of possession I think we are struggling to generate isn't from out the back in our own half, its more rotating the ball about when in the oppositions half.
yeah Son playing as a '10' is a problem when trying to keep the ball or control the game and play better football cause its not his game at all. means the midfield are outnumbered/overrun more than them being inadequate

like Emerson but him being like this is a problem. Hes been good so far but this holds us back going forward, obvs Conte doesnt hate him though otherwise he wouldnt have started 4 games in a row when their are 2 other more attacking options

I see nothing wrong with this from Emerson. He actually slowed down the tempo there & kept hold of the ball which is something our midfield two needed to do at the weekend.

Adama doesn’t do that
At least with Adama he has shown a willingness to get to the byline and look up. Lucas never looks up hence the upgrade. Obviously there is a seperate debate to be had about Adama's end product but he does try.
