like Emerson but him being like this is a problem. Hes been good so far but this holds us back going forward, obvs Conte doesnt hate him though otherwise he wouldnt have started 4 games in a row when their are 2 other more attacking options
----------------------------------------------------------------------
I see nothing wrong with this from Emerson. He actually slowed down the tempo there & kept hold of the ball which is something our midfield two needed to do at the weekend.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
maybe hes seen as a weakness so is isolated but has all the time unlike the midfielders, yet still plays it safe. i guess this is where the frustration comes from with him
But Emerson wasn't doing that all game, often he was attacking when asked. At that point Forest had a fair chunk of possession/territory and in a situation which appeared to be 3 on 6, he chose to slow the game down and let us regroup.
That was probably Peps favourite part of our game.
the automations you can see we are being trained, feel quite rushed by some a slow from others
doesnt sit great with me the surrendering of the ball, pedestrian build up and just waiting to hit on the break whatever the game is, its a struggle to watch every week but we keep winning so far so hey ho
(sorry in advanced for posting this rapt).
I dont know what game I am most interested in watching today, but think I'll either go Fulham vs Brighton (although watched Fulham twice this year already) or Palace vs Brentford

Leeds v Everton for me. Both narrowly avoided the drop last season, interesting to see how they now fare against each other. Think Leeds have improved, Everton have - at best - stood still.

Thats a good one as well but not available on Peacock annoyingly

I actually think he will be perfect for them, hes a decent enough defender when he had to sit deep under Mourinho. Then all he will be required to do is sprint up the field 60 yards 6x a game on the ball, in true Adama style, and win them a corner
Yep all he'll have to do is run cross and tackle

I don't see Conte's Spurs like that. The way I see it, we set up to play the opposition. Like, if Forest want to press the whole game we'll soak it up and stay organised. If Southampton drop off we'll overload them with effectively 3 strikers and 2 wingers. We're getting consistently decent performances and results and goals under Conte. I get it's just not the fashionable way of doing it but damn it we need a trophy ffs
Plus we'd be a heck of a lot better with Lenglet and Romero playing out from the back, and a RWB that wants to beat his man

Reggie couldn’t adjust to the LWB role, was given the chance but didn’t happen, will do very well at Atletico.
