I think overpaying for Bastoni will bite us in the bum in the long run. Maddison is a woolwich rat, so no to him too.

Gordon is shiet.

Gordon is better than Maddison at taking people on and has more scope to get better. He would be a huge upgrade on Moura.

Maddison does not fit into Conte's system one bit. He would be a square peg in a round hole.

I wasn’t too hot on Maddison over the summer but think I was wrong on that.

He’s be able to do the Kulu role pretty well and also allow us to play (our season saving apparently) 532 without being painfully negative. His set pieces, especially direct fk’s, are ridiculous and he ticks a lot of the boxes we need.

I’d go with him, Bastoni and Porro from Sporting

With Kyle Walker in his 30's surely Pep would want Porro? But if we could get him then why not!

Gil just needs to be given more chances, he’s looked brilliant when he’s played, definitely should be starting with Kulu injured.

A centre back and a striker, that’s what we need to target in January.
