only chance he has is as the 6 I reckon, and the idea of him defending all that space is pretty horrifying
Just found these quotes on Spurs Community, from a podcast apparently:
"Inevitably his influence (my dad) was that he loved the players that would excite so he would love a player like your dad Anthony (former Chelsea and England international Alan Hudson), and the entertainers of the time. He would always point them out to me. He loved Ferenc Puskas and the Hungarian team of the 50s and 60s. He loved Leeds United with Eddie Gray dribbling and Peter Lorimer hitting bombs. For people of today's generation I'm talking a long time ago.
"They were the people that excited him and he kept pointing them out to me. The 1974 World Cup, the Dutch team that played there, we sat up in the middle of the night because in Australia it was on then.
"I just think that somehow subliminally all of those things became a part of me and my philosophy and how I want my teams to play is just an extension of me. It's why if I've had success it's because people are willing to follow me on the journey because I'm not trying to impose something on them that I've learned or that we've seen somewhere else and I've tried to copy.
"They just see it as an extension of me. It's a lot easier to believe in something or someone when that message that's coming from them is a genuine one. It comes from them.
"So that whole upbringing of mine, when I got into coaching I sit there as a coach and I want my team to have the ball. I get no satisfaction from setting up the defensive structure that stops an opposition. That just doesn't excite me. I get excited when my team has the ball. So if that's what excites me so I set up my teams to have the ball and I set up my teams to get the ball back quickly. I set up my teams to score goals and excite.
"My father passed away two years ago and it's the hardest thing I've ever had to deal with in my life because it made me realise how entwined he was in everything I had done in football and in life in many respects. I crystallised after he passed away that what I'm really doing is I'm putting out teams and building teams to play in a way that my dad would have enjoyed watching."
Can see why he'd want to take a look at Ndombele at least. There's a heck of an exciting, creative player in there if he can be facked to try
Clément Lenglet may be allowed to return to Barcelona. [@JPercyTelegraph]
Down on the list
As someone said in one of the articles. Lets hope the talk marries up to the football but it's hard not to like Ange
Confirmation due once compensation settled with Celtic.
Don’t f*ck around Daniel, it can’t be much!
Yeah, seems like a decent, principled bloke. Strong Pochettino vibes in that respect. Poch made the club really easy to support because he (and by association, his team) were so likeable. Hoping the same will be true of Postecoglou. Getting a good feeling about him.
And based on the players he supposedly wants to ship out, it should be the end of the back 5
hopefully he doesn't put himself to be a snake with no principles like Poch did
Poch is well within his rights to manage the plastics. He owes us nothing.

Considering is the key word. No one should touch Maguire. Let him be Utd's problem for years to come.

Reckon Maguire could - COULD - do well in new surroundings with a different CB and keeper beside/behind him. His issues at United are clearly mental - I think he's basically got the yips there. He still does fine for England.
Still not sure I'd want Spurs gambling though

Exactly. £85m for Maguire... Fack me.
Anyhow, I'm balls deep in the Ange train now
I'm in for the ride and will be behind him

Same
Choo chooo
His days of playing in a back four are over. You would have to be desperate to play him there. Even still his wages would be alot and if we sold Dier and brought him in that would the same same.

What better place to rid himself of the mental block than at our lovely toxic club

Fair point
Porro Cuti LCB Davies
Bissouma
Royal Cuti LCB Udogie

Yeah guess but need a new CM
New GK
Porro
Romero
New CB
Udogie
Bentancur
New DM
Bissouma
Richarlison
Kane
Son
In my head the new DM should be able to drop inbetween CBs when Porro and Udogie push forward. Turning into a 523
