If we actually value hojbjerg at 40 Mill like reported surely he ain't gonna be going anywhere that's mad can't see anyone paying that, £30m odd seems reasonable

Would be good little sale for the balance sheet. Get Alex Scott in for half that

posted on 6/7/23

I reckon he goes to atletico for something in the €35-40m range

Trust in Ange and all that but the squad lacks leaders and he is one of them. Limited he may be but whilst Bents is injured it would be good to have him around.

I would sell in Jan. He does chip in with a goal contribution every now and again. He might even thrive under Ange?

He is only a leader in the same way dier is and you hate him

That said do think he'd be OK as cover for the 8 role as you say he improved going forward last season and chipped in the goals

Difference is PEH is not as bad as Dier or he is not as bad as everyone makes out. He often bares the brunt of everyone's frustration. Spurs fans do love a scapegoat though.

must keep Hojbjerg <OK>

posted on 7/7/23

I can see why we're getting rid of Hojbjerg. Finally we have a manager that recognises that maybe, just maybe, we don't need 3 'sweeper' types in PEH, Skipp and Bissouma, not to mention the fact that Bentancur also has that to his game. He's one of our most saleable assets and he's surplus to requirements. We need the money to reinvest.

Saying that, the priority should be getting rid of those unwanted centre backs on our books. Problem is, no one seems to want them. They really need to be offered for free to clubs just to get them off the wage bill. If we can and we get money for PEH, then I really wouldn't rule out a double swoop for Tapsoba AND Van De Ven, despite the reports of us only signing one of them.

When you consider that Arsenal, until the run in, who had one of the meanest defences in the league, have just invested again to strengthen in that area by getting Timber in, it really shows what ambition truly looks like. That's how you go again once you get in the CL. I never felt that when we did get in that our transfers took a step up. We spent money but not on Rice levels. That's insane. They're gonna be back up there again this year. They're spending the kind of money that makes you expect they will be.

Only four PL clubs are not increasing ticket prices for next season: Brentford, Chelsea, Sheffield United and yes you’ve guessed it……….Spurs!

You were saying Billy🤔

posted on 9/7/23

You're both right. They're freezing season tickets and putting up regular match day tickets.. by like 20%.

Correct Bales:

Tottenham fans will foot the bill to keep Harry Kane at the club for the final year of his contract as Spurs chairman Daniel Levy is set to raise the price of some match tickets by a staggering 20 per cent. Tottenham announced their intentions to freeze season ticket prices earlier this year in the midst of the cost of living crisis - but the same can’t be said for tickets which are purchased on a match-by-match basis.

The simple solution is to NOT buy these tickets which are aimed mainly I think at One Hotspur Members.
