The only bad thing I saw in the Vicario vids was a couple of times he parried saves back into a danger area. And no he wasn't on my radar but then neither were Bentancur or Kulusevski. I don't watch Serie A. He was heavily linked to Inter as a Onana replacement tho. We've got a good keeper.

The inter thing means nothing as they are going for sommer who’s bang average.

Kulusevski was one of the best young players around before his move to Juventus and can’t believe you didn’t know bentancur.

Regardless there are big flaws in Vicario game that need sorting before he’s classed as a good gk.

This all reminds me of the Sanchez stuff the summer and subsequently the first season everyone telling me how good he was and willing to overlook he’s shortcomings because he was a new player.

He was not good then and I doubt Vicario will be now.

Fair enough have your moans, it makes sense that Raya would've probably been better than Vicario. I'm just saying your reasons for not rating him aren't very good. And those that did watch him a lot rate him highly. So it'll probably not be as bad as you think

Kulusevski I would say was cheap tbh prob ended costing over £30m but I’d take into account Juve are in the shiet and needed players gone and we took advantage with the Italian crook doing dodgy stuff.

Also my reason for not rating him AS highly as some are very valid.

It was an unnecessary purchase when we should’ve got our number 1 target who is better but hey going or our second choices always works out well.

I don't think anyone in our fan base is rating Vicario that highly really, saying he's better than Raya or anything.

I'm worried though that he could be another scapegoat if he starts badly. Instead of having the fans behind him after a mistake he'll get abuse meant for Levy. Not a great look

Yeah it's everything coming to a head at once. We've always had the likes of Don with his bus at the ready when we didn't sign the NEW STRIKER. It's always been frustrating watching us in the market under Levy. But we've got the worst defence we've had in a very long time and more money than we've ever had, and not improved it. Yeah of course we probably will and we'll be alright. But a CB should've followed the keeper through the door right away. It's genuinely concerning if you care about us winning games

I’ll ignore the DOF we hired and fired due to being banned from football while the guy we hired to replace him can’t start due to some unknown reason with his old employers.

Oh yea we also got the great press of our owner/former owner/ what ever his shares mean getting arrested for insider trading of what ever.

I've been wanting new CB's since last summer. Remember when The Athletic ran the story about the 4 targets like Bastoni, Gvardiol, Ndicka (I think) and someone else? What a load of BS. Still fuming about Min Jae.

Has Kane to Bayern totally derailed everything? Before they jetted off it looked like we built some momentum after signing Solomon then all of a sudden - radio silence. Absolute clowns.

No succession plan for Kane, probably thought we'd be able to persuade him to commit further now dawning realisation we need to sell as he won't.

I'm hoping that the radio silence means there's deals being cooked for under the radar players to get decent ones in without being bid on. Like Guehi suddenly for 40m once Kane is agreed. But that's it right? Maybe we'll pony up once we've sold one of our best ever players.

It's a sheit situation and no mistake. Right now the alternatives are either to acknowledge it and try to make sense of it, or ignore it altogether and hope it goes away. Cos I don't think you can make what's happening at the club right now seem fine by reasoning.

He's better than Dier. Probably not worth what Palace would ask just thought he's a name most people would like

I think we have better chance of signing Anderson than Guehi. They will ask for silly money for Guehi, he has a 20% sell on to Chelsea.

makes no sense as think the asking price for Tapsoba will be similar if not less

go for another one of Palace HG players further up the pitch

Tapsoba going to miss a chunk of the season with AFCoN though. Worth it long term but would be kind of rubbish if he was our only new CB
