Veliz, Devine, Donley and Scarlett can have some nice loans

We will be bringing in at least 2 more players… Ang has already stated this…

To not buy another striker would be foolish…

That is priority, apparently

Another LB/LCB is another priority!

Davies, Skipp, Royal,.. 3 players that are not good enough to be even squad players!!

Jk
Looking at that Think we will look at a LB, ST and AM but not sure we can get all 3

If we brought another midfielder than wow lol.

Out of the forwards you would have to say Richy, Solomon and I don't like to admit it but Kulu are disposable if we can get a Neto or Doue.

I don't see any place for Eze 🤷🏻‍♂️.

Lets not forget Mikey Moore as well 🤣

Fab

Manchester United have agreed on personal terms with Manuel Ugarte

Same agent as Leny Yoro: Jorge Mendes.

Mendes is also Neto's agent...

I get these youngsters are exciting but you don’t pass up on guaranteed quality like Eze.

We know Maddison is only a half a season player and he can play off the left too so plenty of minutes for him.

We should be going all out for Eze & Neto and get rid of the filler like gill & Solomon.

The mistake is signing Werner who will take minutes of the likes of Moore

How long will Eze be fit for? Could he handle 3 games a week? Palace want all or most of the money up front as well. Usually the fee is spread over a few years.

You do pass if Palace are taking the pissss. And they are.

Werner is only loan so he can be benched in the second half the season.

His injury record doesn’t suggest he couldn’t start week in week out. He’s far less injury prone than most our squad.

Palace are doing what’s best for them like we would.

he doesnt need to start every game anyway

his injury record is nothing in comparison with Netos whos is shocking. dont really want him tbh

posted on 19/7/24

If he isn't going to start every game why spend £60m on him?

Because this is 2024 and you spend that kind of money on improving your squad these days

posted on 19/7/24

I think we should be trying to find the next Eze or Neto. Not the damaged, over priced ones.

Been there, done that with Richy and Ndombele. Worked out well right?

im not gonna be fussed if we dont get either of them for that money

would probably mean Son playing ST next season which i was happy about early last season but now really dont like

is LW Eze best position? cause yeah if youre spending that kinda money you want someone starting and improving that front line

my point is it wont always be 3 games a week and be surprised if there isnt rotation in Europa league group stages whether we like it or not

Yes obviously we should be buying ready made first team players plus getting up & coming ones.

You always point to ndombele as why not to buy high cost “ready” made players but never point to all the failed young players we’ve bought over the years.

Like I put originally you buy top quality players like Eze & Neto etc and don’t get in average players like Werner as they are the ones who are blocking pathway for youngsters

posted on 19/7/24

Why is it obvious we should be buying ready made first players? These types of players are already at their peak and want a huge wages. The moment they sign they let their foot off the pedal.

Carry on buying up and coming talent who want those big contracts. That's the strategy so far. No point changing it. In a a season or two we will reap the benefits.

worst of both worlds

Spurs linked with Scott McTominay

Weren't we trying to follow Brighton's lead of using this data based research to find players who weren't deemed the really expensive, sought after ones?

Not bothered who we go for and how much, as long as we are adequately strengthening the depth in our squad and trying to improve all the weaknesses in it.

There are no guarantees with players. You can spend loads on a player who is deemed the finished article and they can fail and you can spend much less on an unheard of player who proves much more the finished article than others. The opposite can also be true. I do like the look of Eze though and if we are interested, we obviously see value in what he can bring to the team, through what has been for us, much better scouting than previous years. I guess we should trust the judgement of the club at the moment.

Brentford are ready to slash their asking price for Ivan Toney to less than £50m due to a lack of interest.

Because they know he is a one season wonder and he is on a downward trajectory
