I've read more rumours today about us doing a Bale deal. Definitely more likely to be this Steven Bergwijn chap.

I think the most concerning thing about these bergwijn links are that the timing would seem to suggest we're getting him instead of an actual striker

This guy is probably a slight upgrade on Lucas if he’s firm translates to the prem

Yea there is definitely a case of that

Could be as many as 6 leaving the club by deadline for mixture of transfers and loans should all the deals currently being negotiated get over the line. Two of those deals are looking in the balance so could go either way. Other 4 are looking more likely.

He’s been a target for a few years though where Lucas wasn’t wanted the summer before iirc and only got because his price dropped significantly

Bergwijn is a good signing as long as it doesnt mean we stop looking for another ST.
