Just seen that PSG are in talks with Milan for their 20 year old keeper Donnarumma, for a fee of £45m

I would love for us to get involved and sign this kid

He would have the potential to be our number 1 for the next 20 years!

Donnarumma is'nt he the villain in Doctor Strange?

I'm pretty sure he was talking about leaving Milan a couple of years ago in order to get a new mega contract.

No chance we could compete with PSG wages even if the £45m fee seems good.

Kovacic to Chelsea for £50m?? That seems like a lot. Who is even authorising that signing, Fat Lumplard isn’t even in the hot seat yet.

----------------------------------------------------------------------

Must be because of the ban. You'd think they'd just take him on another year loan though.

There’s a get around because he’s already registered to Chelsea on loan.

Just think it has to be done before his loan runs out on June 30th iirc

It’s so good they’ve got a transfer ban and have lost Hazard. No way Kovacic is worth £50m based on last seasons showings. You’d think they’d write the window and the season off, harvest their profits, get Lampard settled and bringing youth through with a view to using money stashed to back him when the ban is lifted. Instead they lob money at the only player available to them to buy, regardless of whether he’s the right fit.

They will surely regress this season; Hazard was so influential for them. That, combined with Arsenal being hamstrung by Europa and a low budget means we absolutely have to strike hard, go all out to consolidate our superiority and crush them into the dirt while they’re down. If we are ruthless now in our rebuild, it could cement several years of CL football and maybe even trophies while they - especially Arsenal - pick themselves up off the canvas.
----------------------------------------------------------------------

It's a great point about timing. United, Arsenal and Chelsea are all a state right now. Could see Everton or Wolves getting into Europe next year.

Chelsea have basically a full squad out on loan, if they actually stuck with a decent manager a break from signing players could do them good in the long run.

Heard that Fulham's Sessegnon brothers were at our training ground yesterday having a tour.

1. Anyone confirm?
2. Who dafuq is Ryan's brother?
3. Is he any good?

Steven is his twin brother.

Right back that’s very highly thought off. Got a bad injury which set him back just at the time him and Ryan was about to break through.

If we get both and can loan Steven back that would be quality.

Noticed Ryan wasn’t part of Fulham’s kit launch but Steven was

Yeah he was. Having a medical. Apparently the two Fulham bros were also in Tottenham getting a tour.

Is Steven any better than KWP?

They're the youngest 2 of 5 brothers

Same age (Steven is 21 minutes older) but cos Steven did his knee he's only played 4 times whereas Ryan has gone on to play over 100.

I guess there's plenty of time for Steven to come good since they're only just 19 but clearly Ryan would be the valuable part of any deal with Steven chucked in on top.

I would imagine Walker-Peters is a good bit further in his development than Steven Sessegnon. He is 3 years older though.

I doubt KWP will improve much more... Had a couple of good games, but looked bang average for the rest.

If we lose Trips and sell/loan KWP. We'd still only really have Aurier and this S.Sessegnon (should we sign the pair)...

We still wouldn't have improved that position.

I can't honestly think of many young RBs out there though. It's not a position where there's tons of young talent out there.

I've seen Youcef Atal from Nice linked with Spurs, and he at least looks like the right sort of pacey, attacking full back... but I think he's already 23 and he's only just had his real breakthrough season.

Someone like Djibril Sidibe from Monaco would be a more complete package, but I expect he'd be expensive and I don't think he's been in great form...

We should have gone for Ricardo Pereira but I guess at the time nobody thought Trippier would have such an awful season.
