Seems we are the only club faced with not be able to sign another striker due to fear if competing with Kane. Would Edouard want to come to Spurs knowing Kane is numero uno after being no1 at Celtic? I highly doubt it..Hope I am wrong.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
I'm not sure I'd want to touch a striker from the SPL, unless they had proven themselves before going there.
I can certainly see an appeal in going to Spurs even with Kane there, when they're coming from a lower league or club. There are plenty of games they could play in, and it's a chance, if they still view Mourinho as a top manager, to win some silverware. Someone like Wilson should be jumping at the chance.
Edouard can play off a striker too, or on the wing.
For the money he'd cost, I doubt Spurs could find better.

Tottenham have reignited interest in Paulo Dybala. Talks will begin with Juventus soon. Fee is expected to be agreed, Image rights again the worry but plenty of time to overcom. White circle #THFC #Tottenham #transfers

Not falling for that again.
Pffffffffffft
Couldn't get him last year when he was out of favour and Spurs had cash to spend.
This year he's coming off the back of a top class season and Spurs have (presumably) less money to spend.
That’s a old tweet from last summer
#thfc striker Troy Parrott rejected approaches from Celtic, Preston, Swansea City, Stoke City and Bournemouth before choosing to join Millwall on loan. [Independent]
Latest gossip column on BBC says we're interested in signing Luis Diaz from Porto. Not exactly sure how true that is. He's a winger which is a low priority position for us, so I'm believing it so far.
We have to be linked with at least one winger per transfer window

Inter are ready to start talks with Tottenham for Tanguy Ndombele. The two clubs will consider some swap deals in the coming weeks

In truth, if Jose REALLY isn't going to use him, and we have to sell to fund new purchases, then its a no brainer
I personally would give him another year at least, but at the same time I understand why we're going down this route if we do
----------------------------------------------------------------------
I think he would use him if there was an actual dm he could play with though and we have others we should be trying to sell before Tanguy
Sissoko looked competent eventually and he has nothing compared to what Ndombele has, time is key
If we give up on him or any player after 1 season I don’t want to hear we should give managers time.
It’ll be a diabolical decision regardless who we get in return

He'd go down as arguably the biggest flop the PL has ever seen if we did get rid of him now. I hope we do give him time.

Never a risk whilst kepa exists
I'm sure this has already been discussed, but I'm surprised to see that Romano has reported that Ndombele could be going to Inter Milan. Always thought you'd give him another season to prove his worth.
However, he also said it could involve swap deals with other players - if you were given Brozovic or Skriniar in return, would you guys be happy with that?
“Brozovic or Skriniar”
Neither of these are worth what we paid for Ndombele.
