What are the odds Clarke never gets a full season at Spurs his entire career?

I think Clarke might even get a call in Jan to come and bolster our options for the business end of the season.

I have seen him play - and he has that drive to take on defenders and cause mayhem. Like Brooks of Bournemouth fame

Can we even do that mate? I thought once loan is agreed, you can't really do much about it. I can't see us of all people paying Leeds money to cut his loan short, unless we did this's before with another player? I can't remember

Yep, the going rate is that we get loads of injuries mid-Jan

You can loan a player out with a recall clause or simply have the loan for 6 months and extend if you don't need the player in January.

God forbid we NEED Clarke back from loan come Jan!

Lamela when he's not injured is a player you want to keep and will contribute to the team.

Lamela when he is injured is too much of a risk for clubs to bid for.

Our only hope is Lamela having a full season at Spurs and helping us on the field.

do like Lamela. His tedious injury record and fact we could recoup a decent fee for him are the main reasons i want him sold. He simply isnt available for enough of the season

Has technical ability of course. Like any South American player

But just not enough to cut it at this level, imo.

Lamela, sadly, is absolutely pointless because he cannot get himself, or keep himself fit. Cannot be relied on to be fit for any game in particular. Shame because when he is available he is a useful option to have.

He is just a waste of time and money at the moment, and needs to be moved on, but i cant see who will buy him, unless its a serie a team or he goes back to Argentina.

U wot m8... Lamela doesn't have enough to cut it at this level? He's ability isn't in question. It's his injury record that is awful.
