Chelsea bidding £85m plus Alonso for Lukaku, who they sold for £28m a few years back. Mental. Maybe we should see if we can get Werner and get his Bundesliga form back. All gone quiet on them getting Kounde though.

They sold him for 28m seven years ago, and in that time he's massively developed, but I get your point!

I think Lukaku is often underrated. Ever since his everton days he has guaranteed goals every season for whoever he has played for, he's rarely injured, great hold up, he'd improve most teams.

The sad thing is that we should be all over him as Kane's replacement, but he's never going to consider the third tier eruopa conference over CL is he. It's gonna be very hard to convince any decent striker to join us.

I'd take Werner

Presumably Tomiyasu to follow after the bronze-medal match at the Olympics. Still need another defender (either RB or CB) even if Tomiyasu signs...
