Because you’d be replacing better teams with worse ones. As a result viewing would go down, and then sponsors, and you’d have less teams capable of toppling the best and richest teams.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Yes in the short term. Long term you'd have more teams throughout Europe who can compete, as they used to before they sold out.

They won't though, because the money won't be there.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Of course money will be there. You think clubs are going to play in a competition without prize money? They wouldn't take prize money away. Potentially reduce it but still the smaller clubs will get more than they get currently and the wealthy clubs less.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Where is the money coming from? Sponsors, TV deals. Will sponsors be attracted to BATE vs Viktoria Plzen in the same way as Liverpool vs Barca? Nope. Will TV audiences be the same for Shkendija vs Spartak Trnava? Nope.
Or in reality, you’d have other clubs breaking away and forming another competition that would take all the viewers and sponsors from the CL because nobody would give a shiiiiit about a competition that didn’t have the best teams in it.

Yes. However if they didn't push them down and hold the wealthy clubs up, they'd have more of a chance of doing that. As it stands it's never gonna happen. Look at before the CL was formed, there were finalists, semi-finalists, quarter-finalists and even winners from some of these weaker leagues that some on here would laugh it.

Absolutely nothing to do with Arsenal at all. It would be better for Arsenal if it went to Champions only as the money would go to the other competitions.
If you want fairness and equality then every club in Europe should be entered. How is it far that Brighton have to compete against City, United, Liverpool, Spurs, Arsenal, Chelsea just to get a place when Lincoln Red Imps just have to play against a shower of sheite in Gibraltar to get a place? Fairness is a very subjective argument that isn't represented by your ideal.

Perfectly put. Needs renaming as 'Pretty good but not Champions' Trophy.
The 'Play In Big Leagues We don't Actually Win Trophy.
It's coefficient points.
Progress in past UEFA competitions of a country's participants gives more spots to better performers.
For example, Liverpool getting to Europa finals, champions league finals will benefit the Premier league. This year has been phenomenal for the Premier league with Liverpool Spurs Arsenal and Chelsea being in the final.
Poorer performance from premier league teams and eventually the number of guaranteed spots will reduce.

I am not talking about domestic leagues so I've no idea why you keep bringing it up. I'm talking about money from European competition going to smaller clubs and less going to wealthy clubs and my view in how to achieve that, champions auto qualify, or at least hit the last qualifying stage, seedings are scrapped.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
No, you are not talking about domestic leagues. That is the massive mistake you are making and the core of the deluded opinion you have. Glad you are realising that

----------------------------------------------------------------------
Again, you are deluded. The money is from domestic leagues. The growth of certain domestic leagues caused the growth in the CL and money into that.
Smaller leagues won't catch up. They don't have the very basics to do so.
Look at Russia, they tried and the gap is still there. Look at China, threw money at their game and the standard is still low.

Football is a business at the end of the day. If the champions of NI drew an audience they’d be in the tournament.

Wow, you think money made from domestic leagues has no affect on a teams quality in the CL?

Nope. You're too stupid and biased. You want to keep top four as it is the only chance Arsenal have of qualifying. Try thinking outside of your little bubble and thinking about all the other clubs around Europe and their fans, about fairness and equality.

Thats fair, isn't it? That is equality? That is what you want, isn't it? What about the fans of Colchester United, try thinking outside your bubble and thinking about them.

Teams in the big leagues are higher profile and bring in the big sponsorship £'s for Uefa.
Money driven.
