Ask for the full amount for Pogba, unless they want to give us Varane or Isco plus cash.
Beg someone to take Sanchez on loan if we subsidise the wages, and we do the same with Bale from Madrid.
Spend the rest of the kitty on another 2 CM's, a CB, and AWB.
Right winger if possible would be a bonus.
I just hope this doesn't drag on. I think £130m is a fair price in today's market. I can't imagine Ole wanting to hang on to a player that doesn't want to be here
id take Varane or isco plus bale on loan plus 50 million
Ole won't. I think we one of the few teams who can stand up to Real. Pogba having about 3 years left does nlgive us an advantage. If we get our signings in and he goes on strike, we could still play hard ball. Real will either cave or not sign him. Then it's down to him to try get back in favour. Barca paid a lot of Coutinho in the Winter window, so something like that could happen.
Madrid should pay us our valuation or back off.
We can certainly afford to lose Pogba though. In his case the stats are misleading. It's akin to when Berbatov was top scorer in the PL after bagging 10/11 goals in 3 games.
I wouldn't take players who do not want to be here.

how do you know Isco or varane wouldnt want to play for the club?
If he wants to stay then great. If he wants to leave then he can go.
He's a good player and, at his best, is a big asset for us but if he can't commit to giving 100% every game then it's probably best he goes.
I don't want players who don't want to come to United though and just come here because they're forced to. I'd rather the club get the money to buy players.
i dont get the whole "forced to go" argument.
the likes of Robben, Sneijder, VDV were all "forced" to leave Real because they were deemed not good enough, and i would have taken any one of them as part of the Ronaldo deal.
if real considered varane or isco and agreed to the deal, the liklihood is the player would realise his time was up and would be more than happy to pull on our shirt and prove a point

The thought of Isco/Varane coming to United feels like Di Maria all over again. Forced to leave and like the idea of a big pay check/signing on fee for a year and then of to PSG
It is too costly to the club to sell Pogba. £150m only makes up for one week of shirt sales that he gets the club. We would need to create a shirt that we could sell to compensate for the loss in Pogba shirt sales. We could make one saying “Pog Off!” that we could all buy to offset the cost. Or “More like Flopba”. They would fly off the shelves. It’s called business.

I think the mentality is important too. The concern with Varane/Isco and perhaps less so Bale is they haven't really got anything to prove. This guys have 4 CL winners medals each.
How can this cant seriously show his face around the squad while playing these media games

I get what you are saying, and maybe it's because the Di Maria transfer left a bad taste in the mouth, but I do think it could be a risk. It could go the other way of course with that player having something to prove.
I should finish that by say we need players that are hungry for success, not players who are otherwise happy at their current club being used as make weight for another player. Usually elite players get to decide when they wish to move and a forced move can be quite disruptive personally as well as professionally. it can of course work out, but I'm not so sure it's best for what we are trying to achieve
