You need a certain mentality to play for either of us that is not required at lesser clubs. Its not just playing infront of bigger crowds every other week, its the scrutiny you fall under with the press and fans which is much much higher than most clubs in the UK. Also we are teams where 1 defeat is a disaster, 2 defeats on the trot is a meltdown and 3 defeats is your jotters!!
thats pressure that doesnt exist at clubs like Charlton. I think our fans have much higher standards than those of most other clubs and players MUST reach them or they wont play. You dont get a 3rd or 4th chance up here like you would other clubs
Spot on they need to learn how to win every week or get slaughtered, something only a few clubs in England need to do.

I accept he wasn't on the official Celtic napkin however I do think there was some interest given the amount of paper talk.
I have no doubt you would not have completed a deal for both he and Turnbull though, would always be one or the other and I guess Turnbull appears to have more potential profitability.
