We bought Allison after one season tbf and yeah the money isn't quite moot but we're not far off it.
Utd are signing a player who is young, English, athletic and has potential. He will cost £50m. He'll have to have an absolute stinker to not improve the team too.
Being annoyed at this transfer is just be contrary and attention seeking.
Exactly, Hoody.
Young or AWB. No brainer. It is worth the money just to get that utter waste of space out of the starting XI.
Who's annoyed at this transfer?

Wow, our scouts have really excelled themselves with this one.
Great that we're plucking an obscure player from a lower club that no one else has really had the chance to see and best of all, at least we're not paying top whack for a player as their stock is high.
Fack sake.

Don't sound annoyed at all.
We’ve brought in the black Nathaniel Clyne to replace the black Matteo Darmian.

Fair comment.
I'm not annoyed really - that was just a facetious comment at how our club is run, really.

It's no dissimilar to the Shaw transfer really in many ways except AWB is built like a 400m runner. Could have a high ceiling as a result.
Depends how Ole wants to use him. If Ole wants a pure defensive rb then we know he has that in his locker. If he wants an attacking threat then the jury is out but he came through the youth teams playing wide apparently.
Reminds me of Gallas from the little I have seen so may even have the skill set to play CB too.
We will see!
Good thing from AWB’s perspective is that it’ll be almost impossible for him not to improve us.
I reckon our right side this year of AWB at RB and Dalot at RW could be very exciting to watch.

You're being a bit presumptious there.
Wait until Ashley Young has had his influence in training and with the gaffer.
AWB will be playing left back and cutting in 99.9% of the time before you know it.

Very raw still compared to AWB. Dalot is a good young talent, but AWB is better right now. Them two competing for that RB spot is good.
Dalot has done well at RW too, but prefer him at RB
James and AWB as part of our right hand side has accelerated the brake horse power up that’s for sure. We’ve gone from a Fiat 500 to a Mercedes CLA AMG.

Dalot is a fullback, but much like with Bale at Spurs there are signs that his talents and strengths suggests he could/will excel further up the pitch in his career.
He’s very talented at dribbling past a player, and he’s undoubtedly our best crosser of the ball.
Mourinho: Manchester City buy full-backs for the price of the strikers
Man United: agree to buy Wan Bissaka for £55 million making him the world most expensive full back.

Dress it up how you like. £50 million for a kid who has had one decent season at right back is having your pants pulled down.
Will see what the specifics of the deal are though, to be fair.

PSG must have been left absolutely trouserless when they paid £166m for a 19 year old with one decent season behind him.

Where have we spent £55m on a fullback?
Does anyone care what Mourinho says anymore?
He's unemployed and will likely spend the season moaning on BeIn sports.

Yeh, that's a similar transfer to this one isn't it.
Great work
I was surprised when we agreed to pay £60 million but let's hope it works out.
