I haven't read this completely through....I hate this
I don't think other the owner is trying to appease fans. If anything he's appeasing himself by appointing Lamps because he believes in him as much as many of us here do.
Also it's not going to be Frank on his own, this is going to be a coaching team effort with Jody Morris right by Frank's side and with highly regarded and successful Chelsea youth coach Joe Edwards promoted into the senior squad coaching staff.
Not to mention Petr Cech as technical advisor who will travel with the squad to all games and be very much part of the management team.

anyhow... good luck next season...........
Capitals after full stops.
Painful as that was to read (sorry) I agree with alot of it. I do suspect it's a reactionary move to appease fans afger the divide Sarri caused, and it's working tbf, and I do fear it's too soon for him.
I hope I'm wrong on both couns.

While it may appear that way from the outside, I don’t believe we’re appointing Lampard on purely sentimental reasons. The transfer ban and our academy players refusal to commit long-term to the club has forced our hand to reflect on how we operate. While our transfer strategy has changed over the years, due to FFP and Roman’s desire to make us self-sufficient, our managerial appointments haven’t changed with it. This has led to a running theme of disagreements between board and managers over transfers. Appointing Lampard + Morris represents taking a new direction for the club, and attitude towards integrating youth. It is a risk, but the transfer ban has created a situation where we have nothing to lose, but a whole lot to gain.

A decent appraisal. Sums the situation up in a nutshell for me!
Jeez man no offence but did you write it like that on purpose or where you rushing it on a phone?

Now this is funny!
I think it may be a bridge too far for Frank ( No pun intended.) You are not going to attract the best managers though under the current climate.
I Love Frank ( not in the biblical sense!) Just that he is a class act and I wish him the best! Hope it works out well for you guys and by the way, you did win us the league!
