Can also add that there is no such thing as a ‘black mark’ on your credit file.
Depending on the bureau your lender uses (Equifax, Experian, TransUnion – used to be CallCredit) you could have three different scores.
As each bureau have their own scoring methodology. Also a lender will never see your score. Unless Equifax, Experian have some premium credit scoring system I have not seen.
Lenders will only see your repayment history detailing any outstanding balance/arrears etc.
Didn't your mortgage advisor give you any tips?
I have a score of 999 across all the big 3

Yes, they don't use the scores from those companies.
Ratings/scores on those sites can be misleading.
Let me know when you catch up.
"Can also add that there is no such thing as a ‘black mark’ on your credit file."
I think that's probably semantics.
Ultimately, there can be one specific issue in your financial history that causes mortgage companies to instantly reject you.
If that has been recorded in error or unfairly then getting a credit report will allow you to see what it is and do something about it. That would be the first thing to do, OP.

And this is what I mean about your lack of self awareness.
You started your question to me with a dig and it comes off the back of a day of you trying to mock my mental health.
And there you are, confused as to why you get a terse response from me?
You're delusional.
I'll just add, I tried being reasonable with you and your gang from January this year, yet the abuse continued.
If you want to start a clean slate then that's great by me, but don't pretend it's my fault that we're in this situation.
I’ve only every used ClearScore to look at mine, and it only goes up to about 700 so when someone put they have 999 it blew my mind

If you can't read that, show some humility and accept my points are valid then there really is no hope for you.
Pathetic. Absolutely pathetic.
You haven't even apologised for mocking mental health. It's actually disgusting.
Sorry to the OP for off topic posts and will try to help if I can.
Had a nightmare getting a mortgage for different reasons and can understand how anxious it makes you feel. Hang in there.

It can be a symptom but it isn't in itself a mental health issue.

People tend to place too much emphasis on their credit record. Whilst lenders will undoubtedly consider creditworthiness, a host of other factors are likely to be just as important.
Such as job security, employment, time with bank, monthly income and expenditure, age, etc etc.
Essentially weighing up the risk appetite of the lend in accordance with lending guidelines.
