How would you get rid of them when they have contracts?

Id witjer Sell them, release them, or loan them out for the remainder of their contracts.

Pay them is literally the answer.

Loans can work too.

It'll take a few windows.

To get rid of 4 or 5 players? Not necessarily.

Remains to be seen whether he has a great cross. But even so, it doesn’t change the fact he’s a full back. Having a full back that can cross is useful.

You can only sell them if they wish to be sold, they can sit there and collect their money until someone matches it.
You can only loan them with their agreement.
What do you mean by release them, pay the rest on their contract out ?

He's an attacking fullback with a great delivery.

He really isnt.

But we are talking about Dalot playing right wing. TAA didn’t.

Obviously, but I beleive the number of players prepared to sit on the bench for 2 seasons rather than leave is far smaller than many think.

These are rich guys with a love for the sport and a very short career span. Plus with the money in football now there are more options s tha ever before for unwanted Prem squad players

He was a very offensive RB. The difference between that and a RWB arent that dissimilar.

Robbing, how is he different? Better maybe, but surely similar.

In the fact theyre not. Dalot is a ball carrier and dribbler who youre suggesting should play rw and us mince defensively.

Theyre similar in that they are right footed. Trent is a coverted cm too and a passer. You'll rarely see him take people on.

Young
Right footed
Very good delivery
Currently better offensively than defensively

I'd say they are similar players

I repeat, I’m talking about as a right winger.

Okay!

Footballing ability aside, they aren’t comparable as athletes either. It’s like saying Alonso is similar to Danny Rose because they both prefer to get forward.

Robbing has just been banned

The other thing we have to consider is the system these players have been playing in.

Poch has been brilliant at transforming players like Rose, so we can only hope that Ole will be able to achieve similar things.

I think we'll be able to properly judge after maybe Feb/March.

Probably because he was talking about someone's kids on another thread. That's not on.
