Actually Nohlman is, but you give him a run for his money.
----------------------------------------------------------------------

Nah you've taken 1st spot in writing a player off before a ball being kicked.

What you going to do if he does well and instills some badly missing leadership to our backline?

----------------------------------------------------------------------
Writing off a signing being good, because he’s not very good and would be the most expensive defender in the world, does not compare with the fickle, reactionary whining you display on a regular basis year on year.

If he does well and does that I’ll be happy, but it that’s the barometer for the most expensive defender in the world being a good signing then football is truly broken.

The funny thing is you were laughing your aris off at Liverpool paying £75m for VVD, a far superior player, and now try to justify Maguire going for more.

You can’t really be taken seriously.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
But he's a season ticket holder. Well, I think he is. Keeps saying he won't renew every year when we go through a bad patch of form so many be he's not now...

29th consecutive season pal. You should try getting out of your armchair. Plenty of tickets available these days for games. No excuses.

But didn’t sign him... if he was that blown away he would have. It was more of a pat on the back and good luck that a show of faith.

Your argument was that Smalling was better than Maguire because SAF rated him. I'm just saying he also rated Maguire.

"£80m for Harry bloody Maguire would be saturation point for me. I'm going to book myself into the loony bin if that happens. "

Very interesting to see how many of you were against Jose getting his CB but now lay in to Ed for not backing Jose with a CB. This place cracks me up.
