Well there is interest there and it’s my opinion that the club are going to go for him next season if we are in the CL. Not sure what your problem is.

How do you know it’s rubbish?

We want Sancho but he wants cL football. We don’t seem to be in for a right winger this summer.

I don’t think it’s too foolish to think we are holding out for Sancho.

Very rare that any club or played says they're interested in a team if they get CL. Everything Dortmund have said and Sancho has said indicates he's very happy at Dortmund.

He may well be but David Ornstein who is not a bs merchant said there was a feeling this move would have done this summer if we were in the cL and that the player is interested in the move but is unsure because of our current situation.

2. The lad is completely in love with Favre.

3. Dortmund have stated publicly that they are categorically not interested in selling. Zorc has said that Sancho is a "big part of [their] future" and that he "will certainly play with us next year, come what may".

4. Has only just signed a brand new, improved, *longer-term* contract, demonstrating both parties' wills for him to stay at the club.

5. Given all of the above his age, the length of time remaining on his contract, and his lack of experience in senior football (never mind in the PL), there will be better value for money options available.

6. If he becomes available for some reason, any of Madrid, PSG, Barca and Bayern might very well be in for him. Even if we were able and willing to match on fees, he'd have his pick of those sides.

Still think he’s quite raw from what I’ve seen but at least he’ll offer pace there.

I think we are holding out for Sancho as well. It’s a risk because we might fail to get into the CL and there could be better offers from other clubs. However, I suspect there’s been some indication that he’ll be open to a move and that next summer he’ll be our priority. Hopefully we can make do with what we have on the right for the coming season.

I wanted us to strengthen our right hand side, but given the lack of RWingers out there for a decent price, I’m prepared to give Greenwood and James a shot (along with our other options). I also think AWB will improve our attacking play down that side.

There is little to suggest that we are lining up Sancho, barring a few tabloid newspaper reports that idiots like Nobb (who funnily enough filtered me for calling out his guff) would like to portray as gospel.

I agree it’s a concern but I think Ole will be looking for fluidity across the midfield three and therefore he won’t be overly concerned that we don’t have an out and out right winger.

It’s a pity we never got peresic, quality everyone I saw him play.

Or, we could just get Ashley Young to play in his original position.

I’d play Dalot on the right ahead of Mata and Lingard, They both have minimal impact. At least Dalot can beat a man and put a cross in.

Greenwood/James for the right otherwise, either let Greenwood iron out his mistakes with consistent football or use James for his work rate and speed. In fact I’d even play Gomes on the right ahead of Lingard and Mata.
