I made a comment a few days ago (on the full back article) that there were signs that Poch may have fallen out with Levy, but my comment went unnoticed!
The signs are not good at all. Unless Levy pulls a couple of rabbits out of the hat over the next 8 days, I think this will be Poch's last season with us (if indeed he lasts the full season).
----------------------------------------------------------------------
What signs, please enlighten us?
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Poch has been quite negative all pre-season. He seems really p*ssed off. I hope I'm wrong, but it reminds me of Mourinho's negativity during Man U's pre-season last summer and we all know how that ended.
At the end of the day, the manager takes the blame for the team's poor performance, so the manager is justified in being frustrated when the powers that be don't back him with important signings or Re-signings...particularly so for Poch as he coped with no signings during the last two transfer windows.
Anyone that thinks Poch is happy with the situation right now, is kidding themselves.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
100% , but you will get people like chronic coming on making out Poch is to blame and the sun shines out of Levy’s a** because he delivered a shiny new stadium. Nope, sorry but when it matters on the pitch, he hasn’t delivered. 1 trophy in 20 years is enough proof to show me the current regime are not serious about taking this club forward. When we do have an outstanding cup CL campaign like last year, we still don’t back the manager. 1 signing ( replacement for Dembele) in 18 months Is a joke. If I was Poch, I would pack my bags and walk. The club don’t seem to back this guy and I’m not surprised he’s angry. F*** wa** ENIC and Levy, about to ruin one of our best managers we have had in modern times.

Let’s be honest boys, 1 major signings in nearly 2 years is pretty abysmal for a club of our size and stature. We are supposedly building a team capable of winning major trophies and our chairman lets us down time and time again. Wake up and smell the coffee boys, I have been banging on about this for years.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Being "honest" Don, I'm hoping Levy & Lewis sell the club to someone will real ambition to build it into the powerhouse it deserves to be
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Please!!! ENIC and Levy have done there bit. Thank you for the progress and stadium, but time to f** off. I want serious backers and owners who are willing to give the required funds and full backing to our brilliant manager. Not some bald pr** who’s got this Fetish in trying to lowball clubs on deadline day every single window.
HePlays dice with our club every year and we wonder why we start the season so slow ? Sick of it
We will loose Poch, no doubt about it.
Levy cannot keep doing things on the cheap and expect people like Poch to stick around. How many warnings does Poch need to give ?
Next to follow will be Kane, Son etc who will have had enough of helping to make huge profits for the club and not seeing even a half reasonable share if it spent on the team/squad.
Levy, please sell out to someone with some actual ambition. Stadium is fantastic, but pointless if half empty, which will eventually happen when we slip back to the 7th/8th in the league era.
Finally people are starting to realise and come to my way of thinking, hallelujah!!!!!

I'm not saying he is or he isn't.. I'm saying that once more you have taken something and jumped to conclusions. it is quite plausible that his annoyance is at being asked the same question over and over and over and over and over again, rather than not having loads of shiny new players.
the truth is probably that its a bit of both, but as usual, you only have the ability to see one side.
There is no way he doesn’t have a say.
You think levy would’ve spent £55m-£65m on Ndombele when he could’ve got Tielemans for £40m
Or you think he would be trying to get Lo Celso for £50m when he could’ve got Ziyech for £25m
No way he would’ve gone for the cheaper players of it was up to him.

Well well well, I can say I feel quite vindicated about arguing this same thing with people who wanted to back Levy. It's been obvious all along how much influence Levy has though if you just look into the clues.
It's happened before Poch with AVB, Harry, Jol and it will happen after him while Levy is at this club.
So now we don't really know who Poch is happy to get rid of or how much say he has in it but we can conclusively say that Levy is the one pulling all the strings.
What I think has happened is Pochettino has basically said we got to the CL final with no signings. I want player A.) and Player B.) , Can we please make these signings so we can compete properly next year. Levy has failed to deliver that promise because he is prancing around with Betis trying to lowball them. All the reports from Betis sources are saying the club are annoyed with our transfer tactics. Happens every summer, another club to add to the checklist that won’t want to deal with us because Levy is so damn hard to work with. Pochettino hasn’t been backed once again. 1 signing in 18 months, absolutely f** pathetic.
