Our pressing is not to the level we need.

When our forwards are pressing the defence stays too deep. The distances between defence and forwards need to be shorter when we pressing.

they are still in pre-season

We need more technical ability in midfield to match them in midfield.

Not the most entertaining of matches. We look casual at times and we clearly lack the magic in midfield.

Trent needs to improve his delivery as well.

You probably only need one player and better cohesion when you counter. Someone said the defence is too far back but its your midfield that is not supporting the front 3 when they go forward and thats the problem. Ox will help with that but

Pool are behind city in terms of squad depth 100% but with a net spend of a billion over ten years, who has a better squad? No one.
Gonna take pool a while to get upto speed where as city's squad quality means, even missing players, they will hardly ever have a hang over with results
