Sterling can be a wonky player at times but in terms of putting pressure on defenders with his pace and off the ball runs he is a nightmare.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
needs to be in an attacking team where others do a lot of hard work though or he is easy to deal with. At City you still have to cover all the other attacking players they have. Was the same with us in the SSS era. If Suarez and Sturridge were worse he wouldn't have ad anywhere near the success he did.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Im not sure. I think players like Sterling and Bernardo Silva are 50% attackers and 50% what they do off the ball.
For example I doubt Salah could play for Pep but Mane would be a definite starter simply because Salah doesnt do enough off the ball, similar to Sane.
Sterling has effectively impacted on Liverpools game plan by pinning Trent in his own half.Thats half the battle won for Pep

ye what I'm saying is you can't rely on Sterling on his own. Pop him in the Newcastle team and I don't think he will achieve much. Salah or De Bruyne or Bernardo would still be class imo.
Hoddle loves the sound of his own voice. Gobshite.
Silva is one moaning little facker

Origi really needs to get some strength. Get him started on a Rich Piana 7 hour bicep workout programme asap.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
He needs training on a good first touch.
Wijnaldum has had a really poor game
This game goes to show there really isn't a million miles between the teams. Just their strength in depth
love this new drop ball rule
Henderson playing better once moved up.
