I’m angry 😡
Cluj got liquidated and newco'd hence the ratings. They were in the UCL no long ago so wouldnt read much into the rankings
That’s mair depths of despair than perspective !
Gutted at last night - middle to front is not really an issue with the players we have available - better collectively than anyone else in Scotland BUT until we get a settled (competent) left back every game will have a makeshift defence - rb and central pairing are fine imho. Lb is a problem that was always going to feck us up against a decent side. Keepers are both ‘okay’ but could be strengthened.
The money from cl group qualification going out the window for the second year in a row restricts our spending but if we can get a decent back up to rb and a decent lb in quite confident domestically.
Crazy decision by Lennon last night just to get ntcham playing

I’m mildly amused by what happened last night.
But I’m not daft enough to think it couldn’t happen to us. It’s unlikely in this round but anything can happen in the play off.
It’s still a minor miracle for us to reach the EL group stages.

Lennon signed both Jullien and Bolingoli.... he obviously doubts them both already !
Think with julienn it’s fitness but with boli it’s the fact he’s a left attacking mid !
288th, worse than the mighty Red Imps.
worse than Inverness CT in the UEFA rankings FFS
Super Clujey go balistic Celtic are atrocious.
Look on the bright side of life. Lenny will sort it out.
I am more concerned at the coefficient impact this complacent Celtic performance has caused. That and Aberdeen and Kilmarnock, don't help any of us in the SPFL.
At least the mighty Rangers are doing their best to restore some dignity and pride back to Scottish football in the European arena.

You can't even manage 3 being seeded for them all so pipe down

Actually it probably works in our favour.
Easier to pick up points for co-efficient in the EL. If we can both get in proper we should do quite well from it this season.

Yip it was a minor miracle we qualified last season for the Europa league groups as I said.
Gerrard had inherited a team who were rock bottom, added a whole pile of new signings and somehow we made it through.
I include a relatively fortunate draw as being part of the miracle btw. And we could have had worse teams this year again when you see some of the names that were in the hat.
We have brought in another 8 or 9 signings this summer so SG is still trying to shape his squad.
To get through 4 qualifying rounds is still a minor miracle in my book for a team that regularly struggled to beat Aberdeen, Killie and Hibs last season.

No-one said that.
The odds on winning the lottery is about 40 million to 1 these days is it not.
A minor miracle is 'something good that is not very likely to happen but does happen'.
I didn't think it was very likely we would qualify for the Europa league group stages last season with a new squad of players after finishing third in the league the previous season.
But we did and it was good.
It wasn't like winning the lottery at odds of 40 million to 1 though. That's just being a bit silly.....
