Was an excellent performance, the result was BS & undeserved but to go toe to toe with the 2nd best team in the world & completely outplay them we can take a lot of heart, plus still have the likes of RJ, RLC, Cho & Willian to come back! Under estimate us at your peril

If you were in first gear I'd be worried, your players were blowing as hard at the end of that game as any player in blue.

Whereas we just won the champions league and have the same team. It’s a mental thing and some of our players didn’t see this match as important as your lot it seems.

Didn't look that way when you equalised not at the end of the match. We played late Sunday as well so you had more time to rest and prepare for this game.
Chelsea’s pressing and approach play was very good. That should serve you well in the bigger games if you can maintain it throughout the season, though the worry will be putting the ball in the net and keeping them out.
Will be interesting to see how you do against teams that will play very defensively. You should have a lot of entertaining games this season judging by the first two.
Klopp has worked our players hard again in preseason, this normally happens under him start of the season, maybe except 16/17, start slow and don’t peak till Christmas/ run in.
Also Salah, Mane, Firmino had no preseason and obviously played a lot of games in the last 2 seasons, When they are fully fit and fresh you will see a completely different team and performance.

Chelsea's pressing will work against smaller teams. I don't think Klopp and Liverpool knew what to expect from Frank having just come in at Chelsea.
That kind of pressing is why United mullered them, if the initial press fails, there can be acres of space to exploit and sometimes a numerical advantage.
Liverpool not sharp enough to play between their lines last night but when we did it looked easy. Lampard shouldn't try that against Liverpool next time we play, or against Man City or any dangerous team.
Chelsea could get mullered quite a few times this season otherwise.
