I think Cooper will play. The other two maybe not.
Let us hope going into the season without proper CB cover does not cost us
If Berardi has to play then that's fine by me. He's not bad there. And his lack of height will.matter less against Brentford.
agree... my worry for tonight is corners, and a certain Pontus
Don't understand why everybody is on about corners and Pontus, we have players that have been with him for the last 2 or so years, they know more about him than Brentford do!..
And when it comes to our attackers, they know more as well!..
As good as he might have been for us, our players know more than anyone about him, his strengths, his weaknesses, his middle name, everything!..
They'll even know how to get past him!..

Agree, but we all know how these things work with ex-players..
luckily, we have Christiano Bamford at the other end
As good as he might have been for us, our players know more than anyone about him, his strengths, his weaknesses, his middle name, everything!..

Ah, but flip that - he knows our players, although maybe not there middle names !!

Brentford will have knowledge about the whole Leeds team thanks to Jansson. Leeds will have knowledge on Jansson thanks to the Leeds team
I hope Jansson gets a good reception tonight. All he did wrong, imo, is be over-enthusiastic! He is a passionate player and had 3 decent seasons with us. He didn’t ask to leave, so I hope the fans don’t boo him - he doesn’t deserve that.

Was he being over enthusiastic with Monk when he left him out?
I’m not that bothered about Jansson having an impact against us, if anything it might work against him with his rashness.
Just hope fans show him some respect.

I suspect he'll be reminded, like Beckford was, that he's Leeds and he knows he is …….
I think how much respect he gets will be affected by how he conducts himself. Could easily see him becoming a pantomime villain if he gets angsty and fired up against us.

agree Lubs, I can see that too to be fair

Shaun, that's nice, so I'll do like some do and make another account, leave the name blank and ask if you know who I am!.
All fun aside, we all know what Pontus can, but he knows what our players can, and the Brenford boss has already admitted he knows whats what!..

He’s not though, he’s Malmö through and through.
He may well be, but I can't see him not getting any reaction from the crowd. My guess, that's all it is, is that is the likely sound. We'll see this evening.
I will applaud Pontus tonight and give him w good reception. He’s not done anything that deserves otherwise. I’m not that disappointed to leave because I always thought he was replaceable. Does t mean he doesn’t deserve a lot of respect for everything he achieve while at the club though
I'm gonna clap him and sing his name. He was here for 3 seasons and 2/3 of those were best seasons we saw for many years. Part of the team that made us enjoy football again and got the crowds back to Elland Road. Understood the passion of the crowd too, milked it at times but he got it.
I think too many players passing through Leeds the last decade haven't realised how lucky they were playing in front of sold out away ends and loud home crowds every week.

He disobeyed the manager and tried to incite other players to do likewise. Let's call it out for what it is.
Nevertheless, he deserves a warm welcome and no abuse at all!
I suspect that should the guy score he will celebrate that goal and not show the crowd respect as others scoring against teams dear to their heart often do. I also think his Twitter account will be a buzzing if they win.
Hopefully neither will happen and I will not get the chance to be proved correct on either count.
Jonny. Not saying he never did anything wrong. But that’s no where near enough to warrant anything other than a warm reception given the credit he has earned
Alioski for Douglas only change I believe
