The Looney Toons one always gets me for the Mandela Effect.

It's probable theories being passed on as fact though. Gravity is still pretty much a theory in the science world but it's a fact pretty much everywhere else.

That's pretty much my point though. People solemnly believe science and ridicule religion in the very next sentence for believing things that aren't facts. Just playing devil's advocate.

Basically I've always believed it's Looney Toons and not Looney Tunes. I swear that was the logo throughout my whole childhood.

I'll look up the JFK one.

String theory basically disproves the theory of relativity and gravity so possibly.

Religion is bollox though.

Religion is bollox...I think there's some legs to spirituality though.

Brilliant Kneerash. Thanks. Good for a laugh or two!

That flat earth one earlier was really good when he realises he's proven something he didn't want to!

The line in Beyond the curve is great, when at the end the lad Jerenism (also well worth a look on youtube) goes "interesting" when his mate holds the light way above his head and proves the earth is curved

I think I've watched that doc 4 times now, I just find it hilarious, really do like flat earth as social media is so full of toxic rubbish now this offers a real outlet.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
I did watch that.

My job is working on social media channels and some of the rubbish I read is amazing!

There's a lot of good things on there but it just gets drowned out in all the noise.

Will give these videos a watch.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Oh nice job mate! I cna only imagine the nonsens you see, at least you're getting paid ofr it, I do it for the craic
----------------------------------------------------------------------
It's for a Government Department though so not as much fun as it would be for a private company. We have to be careful of everything we write (my Welsh has to be perfect otherwise that faux pas would be picked up!), have to be careful of the images we use (in terms of making sure there's a gender/disability/race balance - these things are measured!) and have to be very mindful of the political landscape.

The good thing though is I get to be on social media all day and nobody really knows why I'm looking at a certain article. I'd just tell them it was something that appeared on the timeline if someone asked.

It's not very science proven though.

I'm a sucker for conspiracy theories. I'll admit it.

It is a very common trend among the JA 606 Liverpool community.

There was a web site with these thousands of architects on it about 9/11.

I have a comment on it. Guess what, I have no idea about architecture.

It was a very major flaw with the website. Like most conspiracy websites.

Which is fine but if the fire department are genuinely questioning it then I feel it may have legs.

It would have lots of legs if they have evidence of explosives bringing down buildings. It isn't something that can be hid.

It would take a hell of a lot of PE4 to bring down buildings that big.

I actually wonder at the absurdity that no one would ever notice this vast amount of explosives being in a building occupied by thousands of people.

posted on 21/8/19

Could be wrong but I think the fire department is more to do with the impact it's had on firefighters. I know a couple of weeks ago there was a big thing about them not getting healthcare covered.

Obviously they're not going to leave explosives out in the open for everyone to see

Like most normal and sensible people (yes, me!) I think the anti-vaccination lot are idiots. Does anyone on here have the balls or even a coherent argument as to why the anti-vaccination movement are right?

----------------

Of course not. But you still have to get huge amounts of explosives into the building and planted and a system rigged up for them to go off in order. Which is a huge stretch. Unless you think that all the security guards working at the building were happy for all those innocent people (and themselves) to be killed.

What would an architect know about the effects of temperature on the structural integrity of load-bearing elements?

Architects get paid for drawing nice pictures. End of.

Talk to an actual structural engineer. Steel will undergo catastrophic failure well before the melting point is achieved.
