The big man is a legend just for the save against Saha. One of my favourite moments supporting Celtic. To get that save and a Naka special in one game was unreal when you thing about it.

I have a horrible feeling about him going out there tonight to stake his claim to be first pick and making an absolute tool of it.

i have no beef with gordon, capable of a mistake but so was boruc.

he was a world class shot stopper asked to do something entirely different later in his career, by a manager and back 4 who seemed determined to put him under pressure.

he wasnt capable of it, but he was good at keeping the ball out.

Bain isn't good enough to be 1st choice and Gordon is nearly finished.

I can understand the concerns about Forster having declined quickly from No1 to No3 at Southampton being able to perform at the levels you are used to though. If he can it's a steal and if he can't it's only 75k a week he's on

I wouldn't get too excited about Forster just yet. A keeper with confidence issues is a sorry sight and I'm not sure Forster is coming up the road in the best frame of mind. He might not be the same keeper you remember.

I think a move back here will do him the world of good

I think I mentioned Forster on here a few weeks ago before he was linked with a return to Celtic.

It is pretty baffling what happened to his career over the past couple of seasons. He should be approaching his peak as a goalie yet he has totally disappeared off the radar.

I am sure he came in for a game or two last season and he looked a bag of nerves. Probably just needs to get back to playing week in week out.

Is he still with that shexy blonde bit off The Apprentice?
