Well, actually no one is you bitter petty tw*t. Unlike City, who bleat and bleat about one VAR decision for weeks, think you will find most Spurs fan are more worried about the overall team performance, and Poch's weird selections. We all know Mike ( look at me ) Dean very well at Spurs. Know to dislike Spurs and always gives us poor decisions. That was a given before a ball was kicked today.

Well that’s one mess of a comment.
Didn’t even think it was a pen today.
Funny how VAR hasn’t corrected this situation where just because a fan thinks it’s a pen doesn’t mean the VAR official has seen enough to overrule the decision.
City fans on this thread, the same goes for you.
Though both were penalties myself

And that’s fine.
Doesn’t mean it should have been overturned on either occasion.
So if it’s subjective, which of course it is, what’s the point in VAR? To overrule one subjective decision with another subjective decision (or indeed to simply agree with the subjective decision that was made by the ref)?

Given that I think VAR is a pile of crap, I’m probably not the best person to ask.
But as I understand it, it’s mostly to identify clear and obvious errors, which might include missing off the ball incidents, wrong player’s etc.
Disagreeing whether contact was enough to result in someone falling over is not what it’s for imo.
Agree completely. It should be used for clear and obvious errors.
Clearly it isn’t being used in that way however...

On what basis do you say that?
Genuine question, I think I’ve only seen it used on handballs and offsides.

So, it wasn't a foul on Rodri.

Of course they fekin did you dimwitted nobsock.
The head of VAR was on the radio the next day saying the VAR team reckoned it was a dive.
So many calls being incorrectly made. We have the worse refs around yet we bring in var not to overturn there incorrectly decisions
Might as well scrap it then
City have had it worse than us but that doesn’t make it any better.

Hence why we have no refs at the World Cup. Awful

‘It’s a terrible decision because I disagree with it.’
I actually don't believe in Karma. I do believe that so far VAR hasn't done anything for fairness, and has done lots to drain the pleasure out of watching football, especially if you are actually at the match. I was in favour of it at the outset but I'm starting to hate it. Unless things pick up biggly over the season, I think everybody will come to hate it too. Though I see that FIFA (Gianni Infantino) in true FIFA feckwit fashion are speculating about extending it and doing away with linos altogether.
Thay may as well, get rid of a human referee at the same time.
