Ole's really walking his talk. We're not done, but he's shifted a lot of dead weight and no doubt given the young lads a shot. No easy task, and I agree -we should be happy with what Ole's accomplished. We will not be a finished product this season, but we will have improved and trimmed much fat.

You’ve hardly moved Sanchez on, your still paying 75% of his wages ffs.

posted on 29/8/19

I heard 50%: But it's all gossip and nobody on here knows. When he came it was widely reorted his wage was£375000 per week, which soon went up to £500000 per week for some reason.
Still, a fairer figure would have been about £750 per week, just above the national average.

Squad size is an issue, however I agree we should be happy to have them off our books.

At the end of the day what can Ole do but give Woodward his shopping list his selling list?

I'm sure he'd have expected Lukaku and Herrera to be replaced at the very least.

Woodward facking up again

We’ve won 3 out of our last 15 games and lost our most consistent midfielder and a goal scorer who guaranteed goals

We needed to replace them and didn’t. Not exactly something worth ignoring for the sake of being called Bury fans

I’m happy that we are shifting players on, regardless of them being replaced or not.

Rojo is another who needs moved on before the end of the window.

Matic, Young and another CB needs moving on next summer. Mata as well potentially.

It will take a while to get the squad Ole wants.

It's ridiculous even for myself to think "We shouldn't have let Sanchez go as we're short up top" - But quite frankly speaking, he has offered absolutely nothing since his arrival. Happy to see him 'gone'.

Defenders needed moving, would have preferred to keep Smalling over Jones, however it is what it is.

And they will be replaced. Maybe by one of the youngsters in the squad. If not, then I'm sure we will add quality in the coming windows.

My point is, things could be a lot worse and the amount of moaning on here is embarrassing.

Things are pretty bad and what’s the point of a football forum if not to look at the reality of the situation and wonder how we’ve fallen so far so quickly

How chuffed would people have been if it was suggested 6 years ago that utd would find itself in it's current state

Really

3 out of 15?

That is shocking.....

Things havent been good enough, but I see the current clear out and inclusion of the kids as the first step to putting things right. A step in the right direction. Others however seem to see it as a negative.

seriously... you are saying that because we are being expelled from the football leagues we should be grateful as man United fans. Therefore we cant comment on what is happening at our club.

You are tapped mate.

I'm not saying that at all.

I'm.saying quit whinging and support the club. We have had it better than most fans out there and things could be a lot worse.

I do support the club. And Im not going to play Top Trumps with you about who is the better supporter.

However this is a football forum and we talk about the goings on about each club. My club is Man united. if you want to read pages where all in the garden is rosy then follow Liverpool.

I'm pleased that we are clearing the deadwood. Obviously the squad is thin and the first team lacks genuine quality in certain positions (midfield the right side of the attack in particular), but I've said all along that I don't mind what happens this season as long as we see plenty of the talented young players.

I do think Ole missed a golden opportunity to start Gomes & Greenwood against Palace. It would have been the perfect game for them both.

I just see lots of whinging and moaning.

The owners
The Chief Exec
The Manager
Certain players

I wonder how people will feel about this squad once Europa takes its toll with less rest time than CL squads and we’re down in 7th/8th place

People like to say they’re happy to throw a season just to get the youth playing but I’m yet to be convinced.

This.

We dont expect to win the league in the next couple of seasons so let's take the opportunity to move on the dross, get the kids playing and with some additions over the next 3 or 4 windows we can build a team capable of challenging.
