Brilliant news, at one point I was sure he was gone last season but Credit to lampard and the board. He should be our superstar now hazards gone

Ah my bad, I could swear the report I read said 180k.
Good signing presuming the injury doesn't affect him in the future.
Perhaps if he hits certain performance, appearance, based targets will go up to 180k (incentivised contract).
That’s a really good contract for someone who’s only played a handful of games and is yet to justify the hype.
Good. Looking forward to seeing what everyone's been raving about.
Not gunna lie, in the little I've seen of both, think Mount's better.
You could be right D.A. Mount's been our best player so far this season. Although I'm not too bothered who's best as long as they're all good.
Same, but right now he's nothing but unjustified hype and I'm not the only one who thinks that. Time for him to prove he's worth all the fuss.
Yeah definitely time to prove his worth. Expect him to cement his place in the starting 11 just like Mount has.
Loftus-Cheek could be back by November as well so going into Christmas we could have an attacking trio of Hudson-Odoi, Loftus-Cheek and Mount behind Tammy. That would be some strike force.
This sounds awfully familiar.
With all due respect HHHBF...probably best not to comment on the subject (of who is better) if your sample size/gauge is limited and you're forming your opinion based on last season under Sarri who grossly mismanaged him (by the way, despite the circumstances Hudson-Odoi did damn well to deliver almosr everytime he took to the pitch which is more than can be said for the seasoned pros)
Moreover seeing as you are/were a staunch defender of Sarri (and the way he treated Hudson-Odoi) and the perceived way Hudson-Odoi handled the Bayern/contract situation is probably clouding your judgement, when it comes to his obvious outstanding ability.
Hudson-Odoi's ability to just be dynamic & direct on the ball can truly be destructive on opponents defensive structure and defenders.
The ability to put fear and commit defenders is essential.
In addition to that...
Hudson-Odoi doesn't do blind driven blasted crosses across the face of the goal (which is a pet hate of mine). Always measured in the way he delivers cross. Another one of his unique qualities.
The copious amount of times that Willian, Pedro, Alonso have delivered brainless unhelpful crosses which hit the first man or overhit is unacceptable.
Never gives forward a chance to attack the cross.
Mount and Cal are both very good with elite qualities that belong at the top, that will have a positive impact/effect on the team.
Appreciate their qualities in their own right
Once Cal gets up to speed under Frank, we'll start to see defenders double up on him. Guaranteed.
Already seen evidence of this...In the final against City, Pep immediately realised that Hudson-Odoi is problematic, proceeded to instruct Sane and Zinchencko to double up on him (instead of being isolated with the latter).
Testament to threat and presence that Hudson-Odoi poses.

Cal cross to striker...yields goals.
Might have to get used to that measured excellence.
The art of crossing is lost on Willian, Pedro, Alonso.
No one has dismissed Cal not worthy of the hype. He may well be in the future, The fact remain that he’s yet to prove the hype about him.
You said that Sarri miss handled Cal, yet he made 24 appearances of which 10 were in the pl campaign. That’s not bad for an 18 year old who’s just broken into the scene. Granted, he performed well in the EL, though the same can’t be said in the league appearances. So, CHO using the lack of games as an excuse to flirt with Bayern doesn’t wash with me.
He has finally signed now, but the way he’s gone about his contract has left a bitter taste.
Let’s hope he justifies the hype and will all be forgotten in future.
You're entitled to your wrong opinion.
Not unexpected anyway, this site was full of misinformed/uninformed inane views regarding Mount & Tammy before they had kicked a ball for Chelsea under Frank.
There is no absolute right or wrong opinions, it’s just a different way we may perceive the reality, hence different opinions.
Most people form their opinion on evidences, facts and actions presented to us whilst detaching oneself from any cognitive bias on the subject matter.
Thus following the logic of events that has occurred in this timeline, the evidences presented to us tells us a different story to yours. Unless you present us with facts that could change my opinion.
I watched a lot of Derby games last season, and I was overly impressed with Mount and Tomori, thus maintained high hopes for them.
Truth, be told, I couldn’t say I was that impressed with Tammy, but I have been pleasantly surprised with him so far.

Not gunna engage in this. You have enormous faith in all of our young players and no-one's gunna change that, and obviously I hope you're right, so I'm not gunna explain my reasons. Just rest assured, I'm not the only one who believes Sarri wasn't the problem (CHO related) and he has to start justifying his hype now being on six figures a week at 18 y/o.
FYI, I dont doubt his technical ability, you and others who put the time in to watch our youth teams will know far more about that than me. My cynical position towards him is unrelated to that.
Not all young players to be honest, just a select few have THAT special x factor.
Qualities which sets them apart from the rest.
