so what do we expect if he's being asked to play as part of a back line knocking it between themselves while being pressed.

---------

we expect him not to do cryuff turns on the goal line when being closed down.

if no one in the defence makes themselves available then that's their fault... and poch should blame them... so hugo needs to boot it out of play... his nonsense on Saturday was bollox, unprofessional, and just a load of absolute shyyyte and no one to blame apart from him.

the man is a world cup winning keeper ffs, he should know better.

For me its all part of the mindset that we must take risks and pass out from the back when being pressed.

For us its somewhat of a flawed approach as more often than not, that little short pass out from the keeper ends back at his feet and is punted long.

Its punted long at a moment when the team are stretched across half the pitch, open spaces everywhere, everyone played onside by our deep sitting CBs.

IMO we need to reinvent how we play out from these situations because we are often caught out (not just Lloris) and our often hurried clearances are inaccurate and the pressure is back on us with the defensive line all over the place.

Didn’t Lloris pretty much do the same thing in the World Cup final?

For me it’s time he moved on next summer but no idea who’s could’ve enough to replace him

i think there are other areas of the team that are priority, but i have been questioning lloris for years now.

football has left him behind. when he came he was the in fashion sweeper keeper. now ball playing keepers are in fashion, and he just cannot do it

i do not understand how in 6 years at spurs his distribution has not improved at all.... not even a little bit.. its as if he doesn't work on it in training?

I've been practising football all my life and still can't cut it as a professional. I dont understand it?!

I like Gazzaniga, he's much better with distribution but needs some game time else we'll see errors like the one that led to the offside goal vs Leicester - spilling a shot back into play

We can't do much better than Lloris at the moment. He's actually had a good run of form since his last mistake before the howler (was it the mistake vs Chelsea?). He's made a lot of crucial saves in that time, in what must be several months of play.

? completely different. presumably you don't train every day, and if you did, then you would probably improve? no?

so he basically has been doing his job?

hes meant to make good saves, hes meant to be a good keeper. he doesn't get any extra credit for that. that's the bare minimum of his job

Chronic difference is he has made the most saves in the PL this season and has by far the highest save percentage.

Does anyone know anything about Donnarumma at Milan?

been playing since he was 16 in the first team

surely he wouldn't be that expensive coming from Seria A as a keeper would he?

is he any good?

positives?
negatives?
----------------------------------------------------------------------
His agent is mino raiola

Sure you can do without the trouble
