He was outstanding again today. I like him being in our team these days.
You could see that even last season, when some players would have crumbled under the pressure from the boo boys - Jorginho clearly has a really tough mentality.
---------------------------------------------------
True, but never should've been booed in the first place. That said a lot more about certain fans than it said about Jorginho's mentality.
If Sarri had of been in charge today, I'm convinced those fans would've criticized him missing the last tackle which lead to Southampton's goal (ignoring the fact Valery beat four players before him).
He's a great player who we quite frankly don't deserve, some of us anyway.

I wouldn't say that, when I was at games, I always got the impression it was Sarri's decisions that were being treated with ridicule rather than the player.
Good to see us reaping the benefits of him in the team now.
He was unlucky to have been booked today, I think he was acting over a sense of injustice that the blatant pulling back of Dave by his shorts went unpunished!
Just for the record D.A. I certainly wasn't one of those fans that ever booed him. I can't think of anything more stupid than booing one of our own, those idiots even booed him as he was coming on as a substitute. I assume that they thought that they were making some sort of point to Sarri. Either way it's counter-productive.

maybe but azpi fouled their player before the shorts pulling he pushed him in the back. i do feel the freekick for kantes shoulder to shoulder was harsh though

Yep, I got the same impression. Hate by association. Like Brummie says I'm glad people are seeing his value now, but I'm not gunna forget that quickly.
As counter productive as the Benitez booing was I could at least understand it. Didn't agree with it personally but I couldn't tell a Chelsea fan who disliked Rafa that their reasons weren't valid. The reasons people disliked Jorginho to the point of booing him were idiotic (that whole Kante's a DM argument )
I can't say Benitez got to me personally either. People say all kinds of crap or propaganda when they are in a particular job and then sing a completely different song when they are in a different job. It's just an industry that provides the pros with employment at the end of the day and what people say about their current employers should be taken with a pinch of salt IMO.
It's rumoured that Hazard is a bit less complimentary about us these days, which says more about the fact that he is not currently doing that well rather than what his actual thinking might be. He's playing to his new audience.
Hazard has not been anything but complimentary to ya summer.
As for Jorginho, yet to hit the heights of end of last year but is now most certainly a leader and metronome. Turning into a real great signing. Confident when he’s taking pens aswell. Class act. Gone are the days we had 6 or 7 captains in the team but I can see a fair few in a few years if people take note from Jorginho.
Class player recognised imo by most chelsea dans a while back but as always the media narrative will be Lampard v sarri etc
Brilliant typo
"All Chelsea fans are (unt$, except Summer" - Hazard, 2019
Haha.
“Can’t say I was a fan of the chelsea crowd, but there was this one guy in the Matthew Harding...”
Havent heard too much mention of Sarri tbh Nick
It's been such a strong culture switch not just with Lamps but Jody's return and Cechs new job
Frank is doing a hell of a job in the pressers imo
I’ve heard a few “Jorginho new lease of life under Lampard” etc in the press. When imo Jorginho (although good this year) has his best spell at end of last year over a 10 game span.

Not as strong as you'd think. There was strong elements of SarriBall in possession yesterday with the vertical passing patterns. Mount really stood out as the player Sarri needed last season to fill the Hamsik role.
One thing Lampard's nailing atm is seeing this season as experimental. He's playing with different systems, different in & out of possession triggers (minus the high press which is constant), different players in different roles, etc... not just forward thinking in terms of the young players, in terms of himself and what he's capable of. If AVB had of done that his time with us might've succeeded
