“This has been a burden of my life for a few years now .....”

FFS - get in the real world!

Some people are living with serious illness to either themselves or a member of their family. They might be struggling for money or where their next meal is coming from.

Never understand this rubbish.

It is like saying I can't complain if the hot water is not running in my flat because there are kids out there with no clean water.

It's really not.

Ultimately its the people on here and other football fans that fund their lavish lifestyles.

I think people have lost sight of that.

Enjoy your privileges but keep quiet about it.

Nah you can only worry about things if you’re poor. Being rich completely disqualifies people from mental stress.

Absolute nonsense! Her husband entertained millions around the world and earned his money for his hard work and talent. What on earth are you talking about?

Do you really think that any of this is a 'worry' for her?

Don't be a mug. Its attention seeking on top ior more attention seeking.

At the moment, footballers and their wags are onto a good thing because people are ok to give them their money. They shouldn't rock that boat.

Let's say that we brought in a cap of £5k a week for footballers.

Would Wayne still have been a footballer or would he have taken some other job where he could have earned more.

Was he a better footballer because he got paid £100k a week or whatever he actually got.

No, you’re talking out your @rse.

People have a right to complain about whatever they want, but the language is: “.... this has been a burden of my life”

I moan like f*** about many things: politics, Brexit, the performances of Demarai Gray. But I really would have lost the plot if I described them as a “burden of my life”

That doesn't explain why she wants to live her life and public and then moan when it causes her a slight problem.

Exactly....its perspective

posted on 9/10/19

I wouldn't argue if you did describe the performances of Demarai Gray as a burden of your life.

Actually Joby, I think you're being a bit harsh on someone who knew there was some friend out there that she couldn't trust. Not knowing who it was /out of everyone/ was the burden.

Unless of course it is a hack with access to one of the two women's accounts and neither realises. Which would unfortunately make sense, and in which case the whole thing takes a more sinister turn again.

posted on 9/10/19

Yeah I think she does. She’s a right to privacy and it’s obviously placed a lack of trust in those that she did. How much money someone earns and why is irrelevant.

I imagine seeing details of your private life (including your kids) would be a burden on your life. Odd thing to pick up on.

You really are a simpleton. He was one of the main stars of a multi billion industry and was paid accordingly.

Having one of your close friends leaking private stories to the sun for years is a burden. Unlike you I am not sad enough to analyse what burden means to one person in comparison to another.

Lastly, Colleen Rooney from my knowledge has always been quiet and gone about her business, never really seen her trying to hog the limelight. You are writing utter tosh here.

TBF she said it was Vardys account. Not Vardy responsible.

As I mentioned though, why post publicly, and not consult with Mrs Vardy first if she really considered that. Either just a poor move or she just truly believes it is Mrs Vardy doing it

A simpleton. No. Not me.

It doesn't need to be a multi-million dollar industry.

The people who benefit are the coaches, senior staff, players, agents (who contribute almost nothing), to companies.

Who funds it? You do.

It's your money that coleen Rooney is spending.

I'd rather keep it for myself and give her and her husband a bit less.

Why is she even on Twitter if she wants her privacy.

posted on 9/10/19

Using social media doesn’t mean she’s not being private. But if you think it’s ok for people to sell stories abiut her private life to the sun, without her knowledge, and expect her not to be stressed out about that then I don’t really know what to say. It’s just a really stupid opinion to have.

Everything you post on SOCIAL media is fair game. Closed groups are easily accessed by people if they’re really interested in doing so. That’s irrespective of the fact that for both these ladies the only thing that has really given them a public profile that they’ve courted - is because they’ve shared their lives on social media.

If you don’t want it public and want to retain your privacy: DON’T POST IT ON SOCIAL MEDIA

It really is that simple

posted on 9/10/19

Just because it’s called ‘social’ media doesn’t mean that content where you specifically make it private to just those you choose to view it (ie close friends and family) should be allowed to be views by the public. People use social media as the main form of contact these days, and the fact functions exist to allow users to choose who can view their content means they should be allowed that privacy if they choose so. Colleen has every right to be upset and angry at what has happened.

Perhaps a little bit if you put everything under the banner of social media like private WhatsApp groups and email, but things like Twitter & Instagram exist for people like RV and CR
They court a social media profile
Everything they share is designed for self promotion

Even the outrage of the victim hasn’t been dealt with privately or legally - it has been shared on social media

Anybody who says they want a right to privacy for everything they share on social media is either being incredibly disingenuous or incredibly naive
