Yeah you have just wasted part of your life writing this rubbish and I have wasted part of my own reading it
Can you show us your workings for 10 marks.
Took me like 15 minutes lol.
I only made it as it just shows how good a job Solskjaer is doing. Its extremely rare to see such a difference between 2 managers in such a short space of time.
Hafi can you do an expected goals and points league table?

Do the results from this analysis yield statistical significance Hafi? A comparison between this season (experimental condition) and each of the previous seasons (as a control condition) would be good.
If so, please provide the p values and let me know which statistical analysis was used.
Interestingly this game is between the 2 best defences in the league. Man Utd expected goals against is 6.18 and Liverpool is 7.38.
Last season when Solskjaer side met Klopps it was 0.47 expected goals for Man Utd vs Liverpool 0.38. Will Liverpool create anything this time as this Man Utd team are far better defensively this season.
"0.77 expected goals per game"

Hi Hafi.
Can you do expected goals this season, taking away set pieces?
Thanks.
Hafi doesn't answer questions he doesn't like the answer to.
So last season after Solskjaer came in was the best dominance we had and this season we have been even more dominant.
The players are responsible for not making Solskjaer tactics a winning. If you in fact analyse it the only difference between when we were winning away and not winning away is the fact we are playing much better away from home when not winning then when we were winning.
No team can be this unlucky all season can they? Even Solskjaer said it himself before Newcastle game he has rarely seen any side we have played and been outplayed and we normally are the better team.
I just hope we start getting some luck as its hard to believe how unlucky we have been since around March. Nearly every game opposition outperforms there expected goals stat and we significantly are worse than that.
Our last 9 PL games last season we took 8 points.
This season after 8 PL games we have taken 9 points. Thats 17 PL games we have taken 17 points.
We should have taken 14.15 points instead of the 8 we got. Our goal difference in last 9 games was 11.67 goals worse than expected.
This season from 8 games it is 4.96 goals worse than expected. We should have taken 16.02 points instead of the 9 we got.
So instead of last 17 games 17 points we should have had 30.17 points and 16.63 goal difference better so nearly for 17 straight games we have been averaging 1 worse goal than expected average.
Thats my factual rant done for this year.

Oh. Well in that case I'll point out that there are only three times worse than them at creating chances in the league, apart from set pieces. So it's expected that they haven't scored enough goals considering the high expected goal chances from penalties have been missed.
They simply don't create enough, which is normal, considering their midfield.

It's a very valid point. From open play, only three teams are worse than you in terms of expected goals. You don't create enough from open play and therefore struggle for goals.
