There is contact. I think if Origi hadnt gone over like a sniper got him then VAR may have given the foul.

It was deffo a kick. And most people would agree we got lucky with the goal. We didn’t deserve to lose the game and I doubt any Liverpool fans would have felt the goal was out of the blue but it was a million percent a foul and another VaR failure

As much as I would have liked a foul to be given, I dont think it was a foul on Origi to be fair.
There might have been the slightest contact on the inside of his left knee, possibly, but he went down clutching his calf, so no, no foul for me.
If you bother to look up Klopps record at Old Trafford then there is nothing strange about today’s game and besides this match has served up this kind of dull encounter consistently. The only thing that made this interesting was the sub plot that apparently all Liverpool has to turn up and choose how many goals they would win by.
VAR then obviously made it a spectacle

Did you not see the replays? On the station I watched it on it was slowed down and a clear kick on the leg. Something that should have been clear on VAR to a competent video referee
Either way, it was given as a goal but I just worry with VAR being so awful it’s one day gonna screw us over
Was probably a foul but I dont think its 'clear and obvious' by any stretch
Not sure we were that lucky with our goal. You’ve seen them given but it was exceptionally soft. I’d like to think it would teach players not to try and buy cheap free-kicks from minimal contact in the opposition’s half.
I thought it was a poor game. Not impressed with Liverpool at all - I think City would have won that by a couple. We looked pretty clueless going forward but deserved at least a point.
Pereira was better but not great. No one really stood out for me.
I thought United were good 1st half but once 60 minutes cane they seemed to try and just hold what they had which was strange as weren’t playing well and a second for them kills the game
Though both VAR were correct and a fair result in the end

Beyond todays game, there is no doubt, VAR is a mess.
Ole is pretty good at Jose-ing a game against a better side
Shame he plays like that against all the dross you should be brushing aside too
Fair comment except for the Ole bottling it. They were always be pushing for the equaliser, so we decided to play for the time out, as a capable manager would.
I think a draw was fair. I do think the loss of Salah screwed a bit with Liverpool as they just had nothing from the right side to cause us any concern until we say back and allowed them back in
It barely looked like Origi was touched, so not clear cut for me. Which means it shouldn’t be overturned.

I think there were a number of players visibly tiring and with a lack of any real quality to bring off the bench, we were better off sticking with what we had. We couldn't maintain what we did in the first half all game.
Had we a couple of half decent midfielders to bring off the bench it might have been a different story. But hey ho.

Well Robb thinks most people think it was a clear foul. It wasn’t a clear foul, it was a kick but football is a contact sport. Mane was denied at least three of those kind of so called fouls and the ref chose to play on

That’s the issue with the current iteration of VAR. You say football is a contact sport but a foul is a foul. And if VAR didn’t have the stupid ‘high bar’ rubbish then it would have been given
Again, doesn’t bother me that much as we benefitted but my wider issue is how ridiculous VaR is right now.

Yeah, was totally inevitable.
Sitting back was the only way we would get through that game. Unfortunately one really poor piece of defending let us down again. It's a shame because as a defensive unit we are really not that bad.
Ole went more defensive because of their subs... If he'd done nothing and they equalised the same people screaming he'd bottled it would be destroying him for not reacting
We were pretty comfortable imo... And then 2 mistakes cost us the goal... Not stopping the cross and Ashley young leaving lallana
I don't think he got the change right tho... I'd have went 451 rather than 541... Rojo left back, young left mid, james right wing/mid... Left Pereira as a 10 dropping on to fabinho... Might have taken their wide threat out
Some people were squealing about the teams quality before the game... Now squealing because we didn't beat one of the top 2 sides in the league.
There's plenty of positives about today... Bit if tempo, heart, no 4231 and a return to a bit of mixing up the tactics
For 80 odd minutes we barely put a foot wrong
Very disappointed this afternoon. Soon as ole parked the bus it was obvs that they would get back in the game and even maybe win it. Which is what they almost did.
Lindelof’s toe hit Origi’s knee, he could have easily stayed on his feet IMO, contact doesn’t mean foul. It certainly wasn’t a clear mistake by the on-field referee.
