Don't you support Norwich?

Just because we aren't suicidal at every opportunity and actually wait for things to happen, doesn't mean we aren't fans (unlike your good self).

Moses I am stating we are devoid of bad megson signings. Knight, robbo are only two poor megson signings but coyle persists with them in fact rates them.

posted on 24/9/11

No he only goes with them because of injuries.

Again, 11 players now out, his hands are tied when he have:

Steinsson, Boyata, Knight and Robbo as fit defenders

Ricketts, Mears, Cahill Wheater, Alonso, Gardner unavailable.

No, Robbo is only playing because Alonso/ Mears/ Ricketts/ Gardner were all injured.

Say if you took two key players out of Stoke, Newcastle, Sunderland etc ... they would be lot poorer.

Robbo played all last season with all them players available

posted on 24/9/11

Alonso wasn't ready, Ricketts was injured for some of the season and was playing RB for the rest, Gardner was injured/ on loan and we didn't buy Mears till the preseason.

posted on 24/9/11

Your wrong about ricketts he was never seen as a left back. Only if robbo was injured. Gardner was before midweek seen as a central midfielder. Mears was bought as a right back. I think your right that Alonso was not ready and might never be.

posted on 24/9/11

Surely Gardner has always been seen as a leftback?

posted on 24/9/11

Gardner is a left back and also played left wing.

He HAD to play centre mid last season when our only fit centre midfielder was Tamir Cohen. Funnily enough when our massive Rot started.

Wow, I've been moderated for telling the truth.

Ok, Bolton are a good team really, but no other team has injuries or difficult fixtures, and that's why we're bottom of the league. Come on you whites.

posted on 25/9/11

petrov er, you have kind of answered your own question, haven't you? we don't have anyone better than Robbo in our team.

(U8963) - No you have been moderated because your a moaning, boring twit who this board doesn't need.

If you had anything to say that was worth saying, we'd have heard it. But we haven't. You're just a silly schoolboy hiding behind a username. All you're good for is name-calling. You have a playground mentality.
Try joining a debating society at school. Your education is sadly lacking.

Sadly lacking what?

Are you a Norwich fan? or a Bolton fan?

As I said earlier, you offer nothing but negativity and ill informed opinions. Tonight you have come on this board and insult members with credible opinions to try and get one over on them - it isn't worth it and if I was you, I'd give up.

Sadly lacking what ? Are you dyslexic ? Try Radio Manchester phone-ins.
I haven't tried to insult anyone who hasn't tried to insult me first. And as it turns out, I'm better at it than them. And I'm better at it than you.
You've got yourself all bent out of shape because Bolton are doing so badly, and in a forum like this, people are going to say so, whether you like it or not. Face up to it. Be a man.

I am the one being the man, your the one making snide comments on here and contributing absolutely nothing to the debate.

You, my friend really need to get yourself a live rather than having a rather poor attempt at wumming.

Just answer the question, are you a Norwich City fan? I've asked you on a number of occasions this questions and you've tried to deflect this by insulting people ......

Poorest WUM attempt. He descends into abuse and an angry nature. Can't handle that he isn't good at wumming... So ends up wumming himself..idiot.

I hate this attitude towards each other. Rather than throw the old wum thing around Holden do what you keep asking others to do and look at the big picture. How can on the one hand a fan of a team bottom of the league being disappointed be a wum. Then a fan of the same Keep posting about how good a job the manager is doing not be a wum. Your attitude is as much a wum Holden as the other poster. Ok not being too negative but your hiding behind player injuries. The run we have had has masked how bad we have been not injuries. The norwich game showed this. I don't care about results against arsenal what I want to see is performances. I firmly believed we were better than Blackburn yet they battled against arsenal and got a result. Come back to me in two weeks time. After we have played Wigan. If we have a result then I will admit that I am wrong and that coyle plays no part in the level of performance of his team. If we don't and have lost I want you to come on here and admit coyle has to improve.

Holden go on the Blackburn area and say Steve Jean is doing a good job and see what they call you. Then look at the league.

If fans (as many obviously do on here) feel that;
We were always going to be in the bottom 3 at this stage because of the high-end opposition in the first 6 games of the season, and that everything is just fine n' dandy really, because there's a host of ' pushover games ' (once we get Chelsea out the way) comin' up ....... Then, do the Wigan, Sunderland and Swansea games take on ' shyttt or bust ' proportions for us / OC?

I filtered that guy a long time ago due to his behaviour n attitude, I have no idea what he has said, but I know for sure whtcthe just is having come Ono contact with him many times before.

I will happily say Coyle has to come out an say he has to improve, however until we see Holden back, or Ricketts, Cahill back in the team, we will have a sub standard squad. As much as you wanna say Coyle has to do better, he's doing his best with what's available.

As I said, if by Xmas were in a precarious position, I will gladly say how Coyle should change the team, how poor he is etc.

But the fact is, the fixture list paired with missing key players means we were always going o be in this position after 6 games... Even 7 games.

If we had our strongest team available to us:

Jussi
Ricketts Cahill Wheater Gardner
Lee Holden Reo Coker Petrov
Ngog Tuncay

Let's say that for example.. And we had lost 3-2, 3-1, 5-0, 2-1 and 3-0 I would be saying were rubbish and changes need to be made.. But as our best team isn't available I will reserve such harsh criticism until it is, is that not fair?

Right now I'll say current team isn't good enough.. But there's not much we can do at the minute is there?

....Cahill back in the team...
****
How many of those games where we've been tonked has Cahill played in ??

posted on 25/9/11

Stop picking tiny holes where you want and ignoring the whole purpose of my post. Cahill missed one game, but the point I wa making was until we have the bulk of the 11 players unavailable back.. Things my be difficult..

But I would be disheartened if our strongest team had been tonked.. But it hasn't..

Not picking holes - I'm not the one livin' in Dream World ..... Owen Coyle doesn't even know Bolton's best 11, never mind you ... and how many times in a season do you think Bolton can put out your ' dream 11' anyway? In the Prem, all teams have to have a strong squad (unless they want to struggle), as it's rare any manager can put out exactly the same team, week in, week out ...that's the reality - and OC has to be able to put out a team that will fight for points no matter what squad no. is on their back .....
